Should I go with a 1999, or 2001?

Alright, so I am 16, and looking to get a car. I want a smaller SUV. I have been looking back and forth at Nissan Xterras and Pathfinders.. What makes you guys like Pathfinders over an Xterra. Right now for me it is the price, but I wanted to here from some of you hard core pathfinder people out there. I am looking at getting a 1999 Pathfinder, and wanted to know if anyone has one and what they think of it. How many miles do they usually last? Thanks in advance, Luke
