Nice of them to give you a loaner. But also interesting that they are getting stumped on it also. OMG, this reminded me of a issue I had with my buddies 5.0 Mustang. Similar type issue, couldnt set a proper timing, non consistent idle, ran rich then lean etc etc. What it was, was the intake manifold gasket to the heads. I know yours hasnt been off. But IIRC we do have aluminum heads on a iron block. AND you have played in some water recently. What are the chances of the head possibly getting hit with a bunch of water and warping some. But just enough to cause a lower intake manifold gasket leak? Long shot, not sure on how to do the proper vacuum test for it. But something..

Good News! I heard back from the bigger distributor in Australia. Ok, those parts numbers are for the Chinese entry level shocks and struts. Which the guy did not recommend unless you had no money and had to replace em. But I did find out this information. I will be getting things square on my end to purchase a set of King Springs and the Tough Dog struts. Maybe not the rears since I did JUST replace my rear shocks. But having a matching set is kinda nice.. Waiting on permission to post his info here for you guys to call/email him. But the company is Wholesale Suspension www.wholesalesuspension.com.au

Not those King products. Something else. Only place I can find these part numbers are in ebay listings with no info. I have sent a few emails to a main distributor for King Springs in AUS. To see if they can find any information. I'll post findings. As for King Springs, $185 AUD a pair plus shipping. Getting shipping quote now to Miami, Fl.

Not getting any more info from him unfortunately. If they are extended 35mm, then may be worth it. But all we have is a part number to go from.

Came across a set that has the King Springs 35mm lift and a set that says it includes extended length struts. Hmm. Here is the excerpt from it. The only time I have seen CVs break is when that particular wheel is spinning at speed then hits the ground or gains traction. But even then, on most pathfinders it doesn't break but bends the tie rods into pretzels. One way to help eliminate that is to get a locker for the front. Either a air locker or lunch box locker (Lokka for example.).

I know both of you guys are having issues. I know my dealer, if I cant figure something out. They will do a diagnosis for $100. Yes, its $100 we shouldnt have to spend. But sometimes it just may be worth it. The only upside is the $100 goes to any repairs if I have them fix it. So, if the parts & labor are less than 100 I just let them fix it.

I would tackle it pretty much the same way. Just that you will have to shape the patch piece to keep the opening the same.

Couldnt edit above in time. I stand corrected. I was wrong on prices, found email. Its about $280 for the set. Plus about another $280 for shipping. So its closer to $560 for the Kings.

Ironman springs are available in the states by a few vendors. Which reduces the cost substantially. Just that shipments to the states are only every quarter or so. So once stock is gone. Its gone for awhile. I have looked into the King Springs personally. Even called King Springs in AUS to ask if they had a international supplier. Only way is to buy them from a supplier in AUS that will ship em to the US. Which I found a few. But the springs are about $315 AUS a set, plus about $200 AUS shipping to the US. Plus the time to wait for them. 2-6 weeks shipping time. Overall it isnt to much more than OME form some suppliers here in the states. But King did say any warranty issues would be tough to handle and would be case by case only. But, knowing me. I may just be the guinea pig to do it. As I tend to like to do things different.

Doesnt mean they are bad springs. Heck those are the ones I am going with for my lift. If they ride like stock. Thats fine with me. My truck already rides pretty stiff.

IIRC Shoesandsocks didnt like them because they are a soft spring.

Cant recall. But is one of you cats clogged up? Maybe off roading could have hit one hard enough its dented up bad and causing restriction?

I was able to get my steering rack bushings at the dealer for about $13 each. Give em a call.

Hmm those gear are interesting. I personally would like more low to mid range power. Doing 65mph with the trailer I'm usually at 23-2500 rpms. But going up hills it has to kick down and them im 3500+. But if I could have more mid power so it doesnt have to kick down. That would be great.
