  1. Installed new brake pads. PowerStop Z36 Xtreme Truck pads. Just doing the break in procedure HUGE improvement over the old pads, which were Wagners from the markings. Was to also install new rotors, but being that I have a 99.0 and not a 99.5+ I got sent the larger rotors, so have to exchange them. But Amazon is being top notch about it. Will be done with those later this week. But needed the new pads greatly, as they just werent stopping the truck very well.
  2. Sounds like the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator. No need to run the engine. Get up there with a good flashlight and start poking and lightly pulling. See what is loose.
  3. Lmao. Not even worth the look. Sent from my Moto X
  4. Ill hop on the 3rd or fourth batch. Had to fight with the 50lb AC this weekend. Done with it. Done Sent from my Moto X
  5. On the 3.3 found the idle screw. Its not on the TB. Its on the upper intake towards the firewall. Very odd but fixed it. Yes I cleaned the TB and the intake along with the MAF real good. I left to its own devices for over a week and it didn't come down. Thats why I had to adjust it. Sent from my Moto X
  6. Have a sun roof? If so check its drain lines. Sent from my Moto X
  7. 1/4 gallon or 1/4 quart. Big difference between those. Sent from my Moto X
  8. Replace all four rear control arms or the bushings. Sent from my Moto X
  9. Make sure the lower lip of the cover seats right. Pull it back out and make sure it still has its shape and not tweaked. Its always better to seat or get things set in place by habd before installing bolts. I remember it took mine a small pop to get it seated right. Sent from my Moto X
  10. Saw a tan Pathfinder yesterday on the highway that Hasbrouck the death wobble pretty bad. After it would hit the brakes then gas again would shake all over. We both got off on the same exit. Tried to tell him what it was and what to do. No habla English is all I got. Sent from my Moto X
  11. Yup and the passenger side doesn't fit. But if you have a right hand drive R50 you can get headers from Australia. Speaking of SteevO what came about of the Thorley headers for the R50 and the new locker for the H233B 33 spline? Sent from my Moto X
  12. Probably my IronMan springs for the lift. Along with 1 1/2" spacers up front. Rides 1000% better than stock. Tows better and weight hauling. Combined with new Gabriel Ultra truck shocks n struts. Sent from my Moto X
  13. Was able to read the EC on a PC. Looks like I just have a screw to adjust. Sent from my Moto X
  14. Good theory and direction to go. Sent from my Moto X
  15. Sup guys out for work so dont have my usual full access to the fsm. Truck ia idling very high right now. Keeps around 1k rpm in park and nutruel. Drive is correct 750 +-50. Drives just fine. Ok so what I am looking for is which fsm part is the procedure to download just that one and the pages. Or the instructions here is fine. Thanks William Sent from my Moto X
  16. Easy to find. Remove em both and put into a jug. Turn over engine and see which on spurts fluid. Sent from my Moto X
  17. Just looked at my own thread on it. Drivers side is the outlet from transmission, passenger side goes back to the transmission.
  18. Dont have or see what its doing in front of me. So, just tossing idea's here. But, amp draw on battery when starting? Maybe dropping enough to still spin engine but cant push enough to coil, or wires frayed etc going bugger under heavy load/heat. Um, if you manually hold the throttle body open just a hair, by gas pedal or physically by hand at the throttle body, does it start? Does your OBD II scanner have the capability to read timing live? Like while its running etc? If so, maybe see where the ECU is putting the timing while you try to start?
  19. Off shoot here, but something stuck in the intake? Or clogged exhaust/converter?
  20. You know, I would make sure sure, your distributor is in correct at TDC when dropped. I only say, because when I did my timing belt. When I stabbed mine back in, it was off a tooth and would not start/run at all.
  21. Idk the Warns still show on my wish list in Amazon for $157. Which is more than the MM. But worth it IMO Sent from my Moto X
  22. Stay away from starting fluid. Bad juju. Whats your fuel pressure at? In the fsm there is instructions on how to test it. I wonder if the pump isn't getting enough pressure up to load the fuel rails for start but keeps enough going to keep it running. Sent from my Moto X
  23. Changed the oil and filter. Installed my Fumoto quick drain valve. Replaced the Oil Pressure sensor. As my original was leaking something fierce, just used a aftermarket one. Cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner, and cleaned the TB with TB cleaner. Used a whole can as the 'outside' wasnt bad. But inside was pretty oil soaked, hey 202k miles. Re installed all the skid plates. I've had them off since last oil change, heh. Topped off other fluids. Side note, switched from Mobil 1 5W30 high mileage Full Syn to Valvoline 5W30 high mileage Full Syn.
