  1. I had picked up some tail light guards of another member here. Needed paint, tried to sand and paint them. Failed, took them to a local powdercoater. Had them done for cheap. Installed:
  2. A: The diesel engine. I would love the late 03-04 3.4l TDI. B: That whole storage system in the Field Base model. P I M P
  3. What was the code for the cats? I'm not sure which ones you need? From those pictures looks like you need the secondary cats? There are left and right side ones. So if you need one of each. Just order a left and order a right side secondary one. However, if you need the primary cats, then they are different part numbers. Edit: Rockauto has a pretty good help line if you call them. 1-866-ROCKAUTO Also.... 5% Discount Code: 54063C20FED9AA Expires: 01/25/2015 Please enter this code in the ‘How Did You Hear about Us’ box to receive discount. 4. How in the heck do you get the part numbers to even try find em? Sent from my Moto X
  5. Ahh good ole 3rd gen Camaros. Can be good cars. I had a 92 RS Anniversary Edition (white with red stripes) for 9 years until I sold it to buy a 99 Z28. Miss my old RS. Should have kept it and just tossed a LSx + T56 in it. Sent from my Moto X
  6. Gave you a good link in the Facebook post. They didn't do the repair right at all. I'd call Nissan corporate and talk to them about a competent dealer. Since that one cant even follow color pictured directions. Sent from my Moto X
  7. 01+ 4spd auto ia the way to go. Thats the HD versions Sent from my Moto X
  8. Read that you are looking into better brakes? I just installed this kit. Along with cleaning the rear drum hardware and adjusting the rear brakes. Let me tell you, 100% better! I can actually hit the brakes hard enough to engage the ABS on dry pavement. Never could do that before, and sudden slow downs on the highway were always scary about actually stopping in time. No longer worry about that. Heck, the first time my wife drove the truck to take me son to school. She hit the brakes she normally would and my sons cheerios went flying all over. Easy to do, and very impressed with the brakes. Kit: http://www.powerstop.com/product/power-stop-z36-kit/#y=1998&mk=NISSAN&mo=PATHFINDER
  9. I dont know the laws in Texas. But for the seller to disconnect the cel light to hide a emissions issue. Legality problem? If so able to get PO to cover costs? I would definitely leave them a nasty gram voice mail over that. As the tranny goes. Check your fluid. Also if its chilly when that happens and the tranny is cold. It will hold a gear longer to warm the fluid. Just a quick note. As for when warmed up. Check the fluid color smell and level. Should be a pinkish red. Smell like hydraulic fluid. Not dark red to brown or worse black. If it us dark red and smells old. Can do an simple drain and fill if about 4-5qts. Also the transmission cooler line through the radiator may be clogged etc. If possible pick up a external tranny cooler and bypass the radiator completely. Sent from my Moto X
  10. Have any friends in the military? You near their base? Most big bases have a autohobby shop. They can get you a pass to get on and use it. It would be them as your escort at all times. Might be a option. Sent from my Moto X
  11. Go nuts reading the Member's ride section. The springs as for lift has been the same for years. . Haven't changed Sent from my Moto X
  12. $950? Should be about $60 for shipping to you, at most $150 if you are rural. We do have a thread on this though; http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/19867-max-tire-size-vs-lift-kit-used-vs-custom-or-oe-wheels/ Its in the R50 FAQ and Pinned topics section. Years of info in there. But a quick summary: AC coils, 2" lift, very stiff, can cause strut top out until "broken in" after about 6months. OME 1.5-1.75" lift, rides as good, to better than stock. Not stiff like the AC springs. Other options is you like your current ride. Is to use spacers from Fleury, which have been proven. There are threads on his products all around. He is also in the Vendor section. I, and a few others have IronMan springs. Very similar to the OME. 1" lift front, 2" lift rear. I also have 1.5" of spacers up front to level out the truck. Advertised as 40mm of lift from IronMan. However right now are VERY hard to get a hold of in the states. If I were do it again, I would stay IronMan personally. The linked thread above should give you more info then I could ever type here. Rebelord PS, love them Level 8 wheels. 15 or 16 inch? Which backspacing?
  13. OT I love them Level 8 Guardian wheels! Sent from my Moto X
  14. If your wheel bearings were loose you would always have the vibration. Easy to re seat them, the tool is available at Napa. That vibration sounds just like a tire vibration. How were they balanced? Just spin balanced? That type of balance is typically good for up to about 60ish mph. If you really want to know, find a place that will road force balance them. They will be able to determine which tire is out of wack at higher speeds. You can also check your rack and pinion bushings, but those usually cause a wandering or pull from side to side.
  15. Finally put on the PowerStop rotors to match the Z36 pads. Adjusted the rear brakes. Oh man the rears were loose. Completely tightened up the peddle just from that, and the parking brake barely makes it two clicks now. Used to go up half way! Braking as whole is 100% better. More solid pedal and can be linear with the brakes now too. I am very impressed. Now its justifying the cost for better rear pads. The ones from Porterfield. Sent from my Moto X
  16. Have you downloaded the FSM yet for your truck? Link is in the garage section. Get all of it. It will have all the info you need. Very important to have it. Sent from my Moto X
  17. 3.5l with drive by wire? No throttle cables? Regardless you probably need to do the idle relearn procedure. It's in the FSM. Sent from my Moto X
  18. Zombie Thread!! Considering the OP was last active March 2014. I dont think you might get a response.
  19. Mobil 1 5W-30 Synthetic High Mileage or Valvoline 5W-30 Synthetic High Mileage. Always with either a Mobil 1 or Bosch filter.
  20. Anyone into this stuff? Beginning to build a collection. I have a simple Gemini SA 600 record player. Nothing fancy, but is a direct drive and works pretty decent connected to my Onkyo amp and B&W speakers. I do know where a few Technics SL1200 are. Might invest in one of those later. I do think I need a new needle for my Gemini. The needle is full of lint/dust. Trying to find a good way, also need to clean some of my records. Wife found some crazy way to use kids elmer glue. Cover record playing area, let dry then peel off. Takes off all the grime. Found that interesting. As for records. I am going for mostly classic rock type. So far have picked up a original Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. Jimi Hendrix Experience - LadyLand double, Elton John, ZZ Top. All originals. My wife works at a music store that sells LPs and has a HUGE collection of used and see's all the new ones when they come in. So she has been grabbing them. For um, well below retail. So, lets hear it guys. Rebelord
  21. Was it doing it when spraying near the intake gaskets? Or the throttle body only? If the throttle body only, can try to see if you can tighten it some. If not, change its gasket.
  22. I still cant quite figure out how you could have broken that? That, would have taken a lot of force to break.
  23. When it arrives, I will weigh the AC steel one vs the Aluminum one. To show the difference. . Sent from my Moto X
  24. I used some heavy wall galvanized pipe. It took a 10lb sledge to flatten the ends. and then bend them to fit. Pipe was cheap at my local Ace Hardware.
  25. Would probably need the fsm for the wiring diagram for that one. Sent from my Moto X
