  1. Yes it should! If it passes the load test. Check your wires and grounds. It's possible you got a bad alternator...
  2. That looks pretty good!!! Are you going to mount a winch or lights on it? Blueprints???
  3. No. Stock suspension. I actually need to replace shocks and struts... The struts are worn out... And if it ever had the running boards they were gone by the time i got my hands on it. It does have 31 inch tires. I'm amazed at the clearance i have in stock form. I have a little extra room on the departure angle. A previous owner had the resonator removed... The tail pipe is tucked up in there pretty close to the body.
  4. Went out kayaking and got some got shots of the pathy. Pretty rough roads... But i never needed to get out of 2wd
  5. From the posts i continuously see on the Facebook page... Bushguards/winch bumpers!
  6. Good luck man! Hopefully it turns out well. If it does we should get a trip together to go wheeling somewhere.
  7. Old wives tail. Centered on flushes. The idea being that new fluid being forced through will break apart corrosion or gummed up junk and clog parts of the transmission causing failure. However if you never change the fluid the lubricating properties of the fluid continue to degrade. Causing more wear and more heat effectively burning up the transmission because you never gave it new fluid. So if you are concerned. Drop the pan. Change the internal filter and refill with fresh fluid. As stated above it will not replace 100% of the fluid within the transmission as a flush would. But you will lose the transmission quicker if you do nothing.
  8. Change out the filter and fluid as suggested and see if it helps!
  9. When my distributor was truly bad. We found it because my timing would wander and never stay steady. Took the distributor off and sure enough the shaft had a ton of play and shift around effectively change the timing.
  10. I think it should. Given the space available in my 96.
  11. You moving to Dallas? That's a hell of a long trip to make too many times! I'm in Wichita Falls.
  12. Well, the recent car wash lasted for all of 2 days...
  13. Agreed pull it out and look for loose or corroded connections. Especially if it is intermittent.
  14. I'd be okay fixing that 12 dollar @!*%box for 20 bucks and a roll of duct tape.
  15. How did they feel in comparison to stock springs? More stiff? Same?
  16. I would agree on the spark plugs. Anything but ngk seems to cause issues. I think I've got a wix brand fuel filter that has done well. I need to change mine again though. It's been over a year and I've ran a lot of miles and used injector cleaner multiple times since then.
  17. That's pretty shady!!!! I would be pissed!!!
  18. Other people can chime in. But i would not think so. It shouldn't trip that code unless it's getting inconsistent misfires in different cylinders. So it needs to run for a while. If it were to be an issue of insufficient voltage the alternator is in charge at the point where the code will trip. And you typically have a lot of other warning signs that the alternator is not providing enough volts. So i don't think the battery is part of your 0300 code.
  19. Is it all the time? You may have had 1 bulb burn out...
  20. The problem is.... Part of this recall was to buy back vehicles deemed unrepairable. And they don't often give you much choice.
