  1. I didn't like paying that much... But i had one that failed in 2500 miles and others that didn't work from the get go... Not to mention plugs, intake leaks, various other sensors, and on and on before that stupid code went away... I still dread CELs because it might be that number that comes up!!! Still have a lean code that pops up ever so often but that's from another part.
  2. I was literally nodding and saying yep sounds about right!!! Took me so long to finally get my 0300 to go away... And that included 3 distributors.... Ending with a Nissan one for 440!
  3. Cortland. Any more. I never use punch welds to lift, they always seem to crumble or bend when i try. I use the rear safety stands ( B ) all the time. They are very sturdy and in my experience may lift a lot from the side but are only lifting the rear. There is a lot of weight in front of those points that stays planted. I will use those spots for Jack stands depending on what I'm doing. And if you are worried about rolling... Chock the fronts and you are good to go.
  4. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Pathfinder/1996_Pathfinder/ I have this bookmarked for my 96. You can go into the parent directory to get your year. Great resource that's up on nicoclub. This is the fsm he's talking about.
  5. Is that plug melted? If so it's well worth getting a new one and seeing if that helps... If not your only out a couple bucks at a junk yard. Edit: that could definitely cause a miss.
  6. If you are on the 3.3 it sits right behind the oil filter. I changed mine while doing an oil change just to give myself some extra room.
  7. That sucks man! Sounds like the distributor repair went better than your photobucket/post time! Lol Which extension for the pictures did you use?
  8. I don't think it has a sensor for movement. You should be fine.
  9. If that bearing is not where it is in the diagram. Change it to match. That may be the issue!!! Even if not that's where they need to be. It sandwiches in between those two parts and assists them rotating.
  10. All right. Idk if these will help. But they are from the back side with the wheel turned. Driver Passenger Ignore the torn boot... That happened while changing the struts and the post started turning while i was attempting to loosen the nut... So channel locks. Google for the fsm on Nico club. That will have the torque specs for the bolt on the struts. Hell while I'm thinking about it. Did you double check the 3 nuts that mount the strut on the tower in the engine bay. Maybe those are loose.
  11. Mine have an angle to them. I can take a picture tonight if you would like. When you put them on were they at a fairly neutral angle while you are tightening? If they were angled even then the nut could have bound up before they were actually tight... Keep looking it's probably a stupid simple solution. At least that's usually what it is for me.
  12. Are they tight enough? Last time i put on new end links they loosened a little bit after a day or 2 of driving and made a sound similar to what you are describing. You may just Jack it up and check all the front end bits... Especially if the alignment shop was having issues tightening things... They could have left something else a little too loose
  13. I'm not sure. I know some guys on here have them. Basically the early xterras and the matching truck while they still had the 3.3
  14. Hopefully still have the pathfinder up and going... But realistically I'll probably be driving a then 20 year old frontier or xterra... All the while telling electric cars and autonomous cars to get bent!
  15. Yes. In the z cars. They also made a supercharger option in the vg33 in some xterras and frontiers
  16. Hubs should. Depending on the spline count Wheels should. Skid plates may not unless you go after them with a hammer and drill... But that's just a guess. Keep in mind the body and frame are 100% different. With very few drivetrain similarities. There are threads in here about differentials not even being compatible.
  17. Vg30 is probably the most pain free. But you would drop power and displacement.
  18. And to answer a question you had. Yes, get 6. Ideally you want them all to spray the same!
