  1. Ok I've been researching. Does anyone know the Outside Diameter, Length, and Coil Thickness of the stock rear springs of a facelift R50? The same info on an OME or AC would be equally helpful. PS. Yes I did search the "Using Non-Pathfinder Specific Coils to Obtain Lift" thread, and it offered not quite the info I'm looking for.
  2. Digging up a topic from the grave here, anyone know how the Jeep rear springs went?
  3. Uh oh. Well they're already cut, so I'm good there. Just hoping I didn't make a big mistake.
  4. I have a fixed mast on mine. I bought a euro style one on Amazon and it works excellently. Any time a branch hits it, it just bends out of the way. $12 well spent
  5. So I just bought, without thinking quite enough, some Jeep Grand Cherokee springs for the rear of my pathy. They fit and lifted a WD pathy 2" in the rear. Will these work on my R50?
  6. Yeah I feel you Neat car if manual, and for guys my height (5'11"). Very boring if auto and basic haha We briefly had a 98 honda CR-v with 10000 miles on the clock. (special deal from a family friend) it had some interesting features but was boring and slow as all get out.
  7. Out of all the (usually botched) recovery jobs on YouTube, that was the coolest. b-doom ch
  8. Absolutely beautiful Pathfinder, good work!
  9. Ferrariowner, those are some very clean cars, love the Z and the E30. Any particular reason for the hate on the Acura?
  10. Well maybe some manual hubs will help quell the CV angles, I believe you have those already (?) So this could be an interesting experiment.
  11. I've seen this story with a bronco before. Just save up for the springs and do it right the first time. Trust me
  12. Maybe just order the springs for the front and skip the spacer entirely. A lot people on here put on spacers to compensate for the lack of a front lift, not necessarily stack them on top of an already level setup (AC). I'm thinking a 1" spacer might be in tolerance but the 1.5 may be too much. That's more designed for no lift springs.
  13. That's potential for a whole lot of lift. I suggest an SFD. Especially if you're looking into 33s. You're looking at 3.5" of possible front lift, I suggest doing only the same in the rear if you feel you need it. 2" springs plus 1.5" spacers ought to do, but again that's at the upper end of the spectrum, and possibly worth just springing for the SFD.
  14. $4000. Someone's getting a lot of truck for the money too.
  15. When you search "Pathfinder" in the Craigslist auto parts section, desperately hoping for that perfect part, and only turn up tires...
  16. You guys have no class http://youtu.be/CHQwOpl1QhQ
  17. So I'm thinking we ought to have a Pathfinder meetup for those of us in the greater Orange County area. We have a good number of members from here, anyone want to bite? Date/Time? Even start a subchapter of NPORA?
  18. ^Agreed. That's one of the stupidest things I've heard in a while, definitely make sure they check it out.
  19. Rigid Dually's have already paid for themselves- spotted a deer on the road last night, driving home on a mountain road at 3AM.

That's my only reason for a big winch-style bumper: stop the deer from crippling my car

  20. I have a similar issue, interested in seeing what the fix is.
  21. Sounds cool, and I use Photobucket. Copy and paste the IMG code.
  22. I'd get it one piece at a time, and it wouldn't cost me a dime...

You can say I went to the factory and picked it up myself, cheaper that way

  23. Mixed use so you can open up that countach v12!
  24. Wood? Easy to work with, solid.... Cover it in carpet or a cla$$y varnish?
  25. Or you can always use ammo cans, that's a popular solution among Jeepers, and cutting/making it fit in the plastic console shouldn't be too hard.
