  1. I'm also interested in the experiences of people who actually have used Line-x/Rhino lining.
  2. Nice pathy, too wide for my trails, but very nice.
  3. I know whatcha mean. I am about 1/2 way through a skid for my jeep. Making it in an apartment isn't easy, but you can do it. Gotta make friends, and use their space.
  4. Can you post the "other" one? I have not been able to view it on my pc or phone.
  5. The local pick and pull has a Hardbody with that contour styled light bar parked in the employee parking lot. Only one I have ever seen with it. A Hardbody down the street used to have Bosch type fogs.
  6. Hmmm, I normally suggest 4.56 gears for 33s. Pathfinders must be more different than I thought... Maybe 5.13? Probably need a bigger jump than that.
  7. There were pictures? I saw nothing. I see I cannot comment as I'm missing the full picture.
  8. Following this thread, this is what I saw: Several people excited about the breakthrough you made, and eager to see proof. (This is the internet after all, for all this forum knows, I dont even own the cars I list in my sig.) Several who were not swayed because there was no proof. Some childish comments that come with an internet forum. A topic starter who reacted fairly at first, but did not (for what ever reason) produce proof that was requested, then completely flipped out at the reactions to no proof. Oh well, can't have it all.
  9. I've been kicking around a stock rack, but it's missing the main two cross bars. A lot of people like the Xterra rack as well.
  10. I really hoped this thread would focus on headers when I read the title....
  11. Never knew how important dash mounted volt meter could be until my CJs speedometer cluster burnt out with my alternator at the same time. Maybe if these pods are still around in a few years I can get for another pathy...
  12. Moved some of the parts in to the garage... I sure miss it.
  13. Just saying, they are out there.... Now if you want those skids, why not fab them, the t case especially is very basic.
  14. Well you can.... https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/front-skid-plate-p-4186.html https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/rear-differential-skid-plate-p-1904.html
  15. I agree there, our f250 had the trans flushed at 50k miles.
  16. Then yes, you need the weight, good luck man.
  17. The ATF fluid should be changed regardless. The only reason my pathy went so long without it, was another member of the family who owned it before me did nothing to maintain it. A friend of mine put 350k on his truck's automatic (not nissan) without a rebuild. He attributed it to transmission flushes at every oil change, and flushes before towing his 26 foot toyhauler about 3 or so hours out to the desert, over cajon pass.
  18. In my opinion, it's based on how you drive. My dad drove it like a hot rod and changed it every 10k miles. When he passed it onto me, I changed the oil and it smelled burnt, and looked putrid. Started changed ever 6k, that worked pretty well.
  19. Mine went about 100k without any changes. Started slipping real bad, lost 1st and reverse. Changed it, replaced the little filter, everything was back to normal. About 70-80k miles later everything started to repeat with some crunchy grindy noises. It had so many other issues that we just scrapped the car.
  20. That is a sweet rig, you should be proud of it!
  21. I think you will notice a considerable improvement. I never even had a sunroof deflector, didn't need one, and I had thule crossbars on the stock rack.
  22. Weather stripping helps, shift boot for 4 wheel drive cracks with age, replacing that helps. I had an exhaust gasket go out, that made all sorts of noise till it got hot enough to set the floor on fire. After I replaced it, I could hold a conversation at 65 mph, even with 31 bfg a/ts.
  23. The way I see it. Heavier flywheel = More momentum. The difference between a 20 lb and a 24lb flywheel, now I'm curious if there's much of a difference. Now that VQ flywheel sounds like fun....
