On and off rumbling isn't normal IMO. Are you using LSD additive? LSD compatible oil is not the same.

With my pathfinder I ran 35 on road, 25 off and on very rare occasions 20. (What can I say, I hated airing up later.) With my CJ I've finally gotten into airing down, 15-20 PSI off road, 30 on.

You will only need bead locks if you find yourself running at less than 10ish PSI. I'd say you'll need to regear for the bigger tires too.

A better choice would be to manually prime the oil pump IMO. That way you're not cranking with no oil.

WD21 LSD is incredibly capable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's all about tire placement and knowing your rig. Make sure it's for the correct gear ratio and you'll be good.

I think that's why people build the Maglight mounts.

You could also do the Maglight clamps and mount the license plate to your winch fairlead.

If you ran an LSD it would work. I can't say how well, or if there would be binding, no way to try it. -

4WD on pavement will cause binding, and with enough stress, will break components. That's the first issue. Whatever is the weak link will eventually fail. I had transfer case gears shear teeth in a Jeep transfercase known to take the torque of most V8s. Just my .02. -

Tossed the stock cross bars for the roof rack and replaced them with Thule bars. That were rusted out. Then threw the keys away. -
It could be the most advanced 4x4 in the world. It means nothing if you don't know your rig, or have half a brain.

My rear defroster worked flawlessly, like it was brand new. Used it all the time, always kept the rear window frost free.

I like greasable. Not too hard to frequently check it. Can't comment on manufacturers though, the last set of new ball joints for my old pathy are still on my shelf. No one would buy them.

What you need to understand is that the Grand Wagooners always ran tall gears with big engines. Pathfinders have decent or ok power, no big engine to keep it moving. 410s might work if you had a Jeep, but Pathfinders run deeper gears from the factory. 3.55 gears are not a crawl ratio, that is the axle ratio.. -

They're tall. Deeper gears are better for off roading generally. I have 4.88s in my Jeep for that reason. With the 3.55s, you may find it moves too quickly off road. Lots of factors here, there's nothing that says you don't want them. Depending on the kind of wheeling you want to do,and your driveline set up, they may not match what you have in mind. -
