I would return the axles you bought and rebuild the Stock ones (if they were, in fact the stock ones) OEM are better built and as long as you dont mess up the balance during the rebuild, you shouldn't have this shudder issue. Plus rebuilding them with Rockford thermoplastic CV Boots, is a much stronger option over the cheap rubber that you'll get from alot of aftermarket companies, its a thicker and stronger material. I was hesitant at first to rebuild my CV's but its really easy. Just a greasy mess. So be ready. I can provide the Rockford link along with a build thread from the man who discovered Rockford's work on our pathy's if you would like? Plus, having a chilton manual as helps alot as well, because it has torque values on top of the fairly clear instructions, if you have some mechanical inclination. the book is your friend. -Kyle

You take the oil out, change the filter, put the oil in.... Literally that easy.

Your best solution is to source a crashed xterra (or if you want a manual transmission, find a frontier) and then pull that motor and stick it in the pathy. Obviously it's alot more involved than that. But it would be fairly expensive. I watched a rolled frontier SC with 79k got for 3200 (ish) on a salvage auction. Not worth it in my opinion. EDIT:also I believe he bored it out to fit the VH45 pistons he had to replace the crap ones his motor originally had IIRC

Grr, ill order the front two and rear one, but i do have a voltage detection with my sensor, and all it does is (For that sensor) is flat line, rarely will it escalate out of the .3 or .4 voltage that it hangs out at. Thanks for the input guys. -Kyle

Well, i THINK I FOUND IT!!! But please confirm Can a failed post cat O2 (bank 2 sensor 2) cause these problems? A friend of mine says it does, i just want to confirm. Pics of error codes are a new symptom.... really inconsistent mileage. Just wanting a second opinion before i go plop money down on a sensor. -Kyle

I just cursed and pushed the plate out of the way, i think it bent the line, because after going into my timing chamber a third time (long story), it wasn't an issue. lol Count your teeth from gear to gear, just to be safe!! -Kyle

You're in the North East, Salt is eventually gonna get in. You might not see rust, but once you start looking you'll find it. Have you ever looked under your car? I'm willing to bet, if this pathy has seen snow, your gonna have some rust.

Most likely not, while they are the same engine, and are most likely the same bolt pattern, the way the manifold needs to get around the steering system and many other things plus the factory manifolds are already crammed in there as it is. If you got the cash to try it, please do and report back. -Kyle

That be a strange accident, i know my car was in a small fender bender at some time in its life. and i found my support was all bent out of shape. but the bumper looked find Maybe it was and they forgot to repair or its was tiny when it was hit and grew as the years went on?

Same, maybe a bad weather seal? either way, that's not much to be really concerned with, you probably have more sitting behind your rocker panels than anywhere else.

Had anyone looked into using camber plates? Or does that not work with our rigs?
