so i finally did my lift
ferrariowner123 replied to shoesandsocks's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
You don't "need" a new strut mount, while its nice to get all that is needed are some new bolts, and punch, drill, cut out the old ones. Theexbrit said they are a "3/8" x 2", grade 8." i never got around to mounting my NX4's (im actually selling them back to him ), so i cant verify from a personal stand point, but im very confident that what he said was correct. Looks good so far, and im jealous of how ever you procured that lift. -Kyle EDIT: GET SOME MEAT ON THEM TIRES, -
OME MD + NX4 spacer - anyone done it?
ferrariowner123 replied to stioc's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Bro, i have black, EVERYTHING SHOW UP,ill take white any day (actually my next car (in addition to the the pathy) might be a white 98 240SX, but dont hold your breath) Black makes me said, looks great in pictures, but when get within 20 feet and some of the trees and bush marks start to show, I do a wax every six months and a clay bar rub down yearly, plus my duratracs are ripping my mud flaps in the front off, which makes more work. Even after all that, i still love my black pathy, lol -Kyle -

I don't see why you would have any issues, i've got a pair sitting right behind me and all it does (as im sure you know) is the move the strut an inch down. Based on what you have already said with the sagging, the worst your doing is pushing the front up an inch. But that's all in theory, if there is some magic spell on the NX4 OME kit im not aware of, someone should bring it to light. nice looking rig BTW, always like white rigs, easier to keep clean. -Kyle -
Maybe its some kind of evil plan??

A friend and I put that 1100W RMS harbor freight inverter under the passenger seat in his Durango, have yet to use it. But its friggin sweet, has 1/0 gauge wiring, and extension cables running under the dash, (For laptop and other stuff) and then another that runs to the back of his rig, there's a little storage area and we ran another extension there. But something nice and small under the passengers seat would be good as well, not running power tools like my friend thought he was, lol Post pics when you get something installed (after the NX4's right? ) -Kyle

Okay this awesome, i love the fact that superchargers are popping up on the forum. You are paving the way for a future thread on making this an easier swap in the future!!! Im currently eyeing a frontier SC wreck to get my idea on price But other than that, AWESOME WORK DUDE YOU GET A HUG!!! -Kyle

I tested an 05 (?) Subaru Forester XT with cloth Heated seats, weirdest thing, i was surprised as well. Man that thing was slow for a turbo. But my 96 came with the cheap leather heated seats, if someone is looking to retro fit, it would probably be smarter to get a set out of a leather model. I dont think i could trust any heating element under my rear that I installed, but thats just me, the only issues i've had was some how the seat controls are backwards, so the passenger turns on the drivers on, and the drivers turns on the passengers, it started after i tired to install LED's instead of the bulbs (yes, i use to hang out on NICO, and that seemed fairly cool) and as a result, the drivers will light up (and control the passengers) but the passengers wont (and control the drivers) Very weird but it hasn't bothered me all that much. -Kyle

Ehh weird, that layout is definitely from the pre face-lifted pathfinder (in that it says pathfinder both the drivers and passenger side) but i think its been an old hidden fact that the mats look different but all the same between all the years, after the thought that nissan would change the floor mats for no reason (atleast the overall shape). Thats my thinking behind it atleast. -Kyle

Im looking back on my salvage sites at wrecked Xterra's and frontiers. Do you know if there is any major difference between getting a manual SC versus an Auto, according to alkorahil they make an auto and manual SC I haven't got the slightest clue as to why they would be different though. -Kyle -

ferrariowner123 replied to ferrariowner123's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Looks like the lower plenum is needed too, that bolt pattern looks way different than whats on my VG and it missing the factory inlet plenum I've been tossing around the idea of calling him, probably get some money taken off due to the missing parts. HMMMM -Kyle -
I think Rob still has a hook up on the last two sets in the country(and i think forever because they are out of production, obviously) for something $88? BRAND NEW FROM NISSAN Thats a really good deal for some all season floor mats that are actually really high end, nice and thick,

ferrariowner123 replied to ferrariowner123's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Alright alright I get it, it's not that good of a deal! Lol -
I think there are a direct replacement for the 01 and under mats, it appears they have changed for the face lifted paths. And that's all that available for new floor mats. So to answer your question OfftourRoadie96, they fit perfectly into my 96

PSA: SUPERCHARGER FOR $400!
ferrariowner123 replied to ferrariowner123's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Yeah, i get it now but $500 for an ER that seems really cheap, is that an average price? i've never looked into, but i always thought it be a bit more than that, but then again, a VG33ER is like $3000 from so put 100K of miles on it, i guess that makes sense. But you just have a supercharger chilling? some future plans i take it? -Kyle -

Yeah, maybe, i just remember seeing superchargers (just the super charger) go for $800 to $1000 on ebay. but thinking about it now, its probably not that great of a deal. Oh well -Kyle -

according to him its for a nissan xterra/frontier, and its looks very similar to what Nissan featured on the super charged models, but like trog said, it can be fitted to other VG models. iIs missing a few key pieces like the intake plenum and the lower intake manifold, because im fairly sure its different, but ive seen just the supercharger go for $400 on ebay, this includes the some of the elusive pulley's IDK its a fairly good deal now that i think about it, but after sourcing the other parts, it might not be a good deal, but either way its rare for these to come up on the used market. -Kyle -
He's in federal way WA, thought id just pass it on, because this is a SCREAMING good deal assuming its in good shape http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/3602173206.html You can thank me later. -Kyle

I get the same thing but with my speedo, have to smack the cluster or top of the dash for her to turn back (my speedo just sometimes stops working) scary as all get out when it does with the cruise control set. I might end up doing something like this, so you just went through removed the old solder and re soldered the connections? Thanks for the nice write up -Kyle
