Discount tire, they are not going to be the CHEAPEST tire posted, but they make up for it in service, lifetime punctures, rotations and resemblances are just some of the reasons i picked DT over buying them online and having some shop install them for me. I'm like you and want to go cheap, but tires are important. I use the parallel i learned from a long time of skiing, you can go cheap on just about everything, but your boots, boots are the only thing i do not go cheap on, because they are what connect you to the ski. Tires follow the same concept, its best to get something new, and from a reputable company, who will stand behind their products. Thats just -Kyle

On my 96, they were simply slipped on, and were attached to the upper top hat, i believe, i just ripped them off because they were shredded. On my dads 77 280z, had something similar but instead of just slipping on, they use metal spring clips, like what come stock on a lot of domestic cars for cooling lines, i think they're called cir-clips? -Kyle

I just re did my door handles, swing away trim, bumpers, and flares, IT LOOKS BRAND SPANKING NEW! Did three coats, also re painted my windshield wipers with some dupont high temp engine paint and clear, looks nice, wish it was more matte than the semi gloss i had lying around, but my rig is looking pretty healthy right now. -Kyle

Is there a way to ground out or trick the computer into thinking the evap is working normally? -Kyle

I've got DDM's for my Fogs, work well, little slow on the charge up time, but i cant complain for free, but if its going on your roof, you may have to get fancy with some kind of box to get the ballast away from the moisture. Post pics when you figure out a solution, im curious to see how this turns out. -Kyle

I can't say I've put a 37" tall tire, but I do have my 31 with my Steely wheel and I sat on it fully open, all 230lbs of me so I'd say that swing away was over engineered when they made it. -Kyle EDIT: post a picture of your rear visibility, I wanna see how much you have left, haha

I dont have inspections either. Nor do they check for check engine lights. The last two times I have gone to get my cars emissions checked, they just stick a sniffer up her tail pipe and have me run the engine up to 25 mph or something. But just to confirm, I can disconnect my Evap stuff and it won't hurt my mpg or my emissions (in reference to what comes out of the tail pipe), does that sound right? Thanks for the replys -Kyle

I'm thinking about cleaning up my engine bay, and just making the engine a little more simple. I've read from all of the Z guys that the EVAP canister doesn't really do anything other than keep fuel vapors out of the atmosphere? At least that's my understanding. In that same article it said that it doesn't effect emissions, and doesn't hurt fuel efficiency. Can any of the Nissan gurus confirm that? All my state does is the sniffer when it comes to the emissions, can i ditch the can without a concern of a "no pass"? Thanks -Kyle

probably some kind of injector or fuel system cleaner. i tried it for a few tanks, didn't really see any results. Then again, my car was running fine. -Kyle

If TPS is good, and timing is set the only thing left to check is the IACV and it sits on the throttle body is my understanding, so you shouldn't have to remove the intake. But I've never done it before. But that's what I'd do next in your shoes. -Kyle

Never found it, it was one of those "ignore it long enough and it will eventually go away" kinds of things. I only get a slight reference to it when backing into my parking space at my house at i stop a little fast when going in reverse and the front end dips ever so slightly. But never when i'm driving, but i don't drive pathy that much anymore, shes a gas HOG! -Kyle

I would try and find a manual trans, VQ. From what i've seen they are somewhat hard to come by, but totally worth it! VQ parts are plentiful and despite my history of nagging on them(i'm jealous, ill admit it!), they are fairly reliable when taking care. -Kyle

Have you checked the Fuel Pressure Regulator vacuum line? It sits WAY back close to the firewall, drivers side, and almost all of it sits under the upper intake, its a B***H to get to. The only reason i know its there is because I've pulled the upper intake a few times. I believe it runs to the FPR and sits right under the upper intake and runs to the TB... Just going on a hunch. -Kyle

The width of the mounting points are 38.5" (I.e where the crossbars physically screw into the track, and where addition mounting screw are). The widest the track goes is 42" (it sounded strange to me, so i actually tripled checked, its right). The length is 70.5" where the last mount screws appear. And the longest the track is with the stupid covers that make noise at freeway speed is 73". Hope that helps -Kyle

Fluery's Still makes one, its even skip plate ready and friendly for the SFD's as well But yeah, post pics, I've always been curious at how much those would hang down with SFD. It usually sits nice and out of the way in stock form. -Kyle
