might be a bad starter....its not uncommon o get a bad new starter from the store

does the ac clutch kick in? When you turn the ac on it should start to spin. i wasnt sure if mine worked so i just got a refil kit and started to pump some of it in there until it wasnt sucking from the cans very much mine spinds now and blows cold air. (i did that on my z) i need to do it to the pathy yet though blows cold air but ik its can be colder

well what could cause it to work fine for a few months then start doing this. what is this little hose? I have all the hoses connected that were connected to my orginal one

yeah mine will idel at 2000rpm sometimes then when its warm goes to 750 but everyone once ina while latly when i push the clutch in when its warm it dies or will idel at 150rpm(no joke) what with that? is it the MAF or is it something else? Truck ran fine then i put a cold air intake and then about 6 months after doing so its started to do the high idel when cold then normal idel when warm and everyonce in a while its sounds like its off lol but you can here it going putt..........putt..........putt lol needle is between 0 and 200 rpm lol and it dies sometimes also when i push the clutch in when shifting or sitting at a light after its at operating temp. It seems to run fine when im giving it gas and its doing the low idel thing but it needs extra gas its not ideling on its own i have to sit there and rev it or give it more gas otherwise it dies. It only does that like 2 times a week or less when i have the clutch in while shifting or at a light. does the low idel usually shortly after or before so i have some what of a forwarning!

do a supercharged 383 v8 that would be a beefy pathfinder! My future plans!

my 92 does that to latly. it never used to do that before i put my cold air intake. i think my MAF is dirty idk what else would do it it ran fine beofre that and a month after started to do that same thing. does yours have a maf?

I wouldnt romp on it when its cold though thats how you fskc stuff up!

yeah its either your alty. battery or a bad ground. when its running check with a volt meter to see if your getting 14.5v or so to the battery. if your not then its a bad alty

the light bar will be had to find but u can get the rear spoiler and grill guard for cheap at a junk yard or someone parting their car out on here

Im tring to remember what that was because mine as done that before but normally it does run even with it unplugs jsut runs like crap though. I almost wounder if its not the maf causing it although it sounds like it is. I do still have it if you need it. I would hold off on it until we see what some others think.

well since it dies when u pulled it off then i guess that means your wiring to it is good. sometimes the good can hit it because its so close and can wreck the end of the wires so then it doesnt think its connected. SO you know if anything is actually wrong with the maf it is the actuall maf its self and not a bad wire. It should of still ran with the MAF unplug though. I know for a fact that mine will start and run with it unpluged becasue when i put my air intake on i forgot to hook it up. Figured it out after woundering why it ran so bad. My freinds nissan quest (has the same motor) would drive around fine with out it pluged in and has been that way for years. It just revs up and down when its sitting at a stop light. I cant remember but i thought there was a way to clear the codes? only thing with the knock sensor is my freind had a 240sx he swaped a different motor into it and it gave him a tps, maf, and a knock sensor code. Well he just messed around with it a little bit and they all went away and it ran fine. He had the tps in the wrong possition and his MAF wasnt connected good. it would just sit there and rev up and down. My 300zx (same motor) would run fine at idel but wouldnt rev up past 2400 rpm when i got up there it was like hitting the rev limiter. I had a chewed wire going to it (thanks to mice when i stored it) I needed a new maf and wires to fix it. idk if this helps but those are my past experiences with it.

yeha only part that makes me nervous about that is the years are 92-93 well they changed the guages between those 2 years lol i wish they had a exactl photo. more then likly it wont have both the trip od either

its either the maf or the tps. I had that problem on my 300zx (same motor) and something bit the wires on the MAF so it wasnt getting a reading. i have a MAF off my old pathfinder i parted out if ur interested. Try unhooking the MAF and turn it on and see if it even makes a difference. You should notice a difference when you do. If you dont then i would say thats probably your problem then.

well are either of them worn kinda werid? Like does one tire have more tred on the inside then the outside? if so then it could pull a certain way if just one of the tires was like that. DO they both have about the same amount of tred?

mine did that and i found out my caliper was taking worn out and wasnt releasing very well. also i needed a alinement and all my front end joints were shot

o really it gets in the way down there? @!*% well you could take that plastic part out right above it it doesnt do anything. my old 93 used to have a pocket right there but i guess they didnt dothat in 92
