  1. got it mostly back together still waiting on my projector headlights to come before i can put my powder coated grill and fog lights back on. I installed a new flip out dvd player since my old one quit reading disks and I also installed my new reverse camera. So far its coming out very well with all my new painted parts and front end and their brake light it looks great and handles good! I think i have a belt loose it squeal/churp for like 1 second when i do a cold start.
  2. I have actually bought a set of these ( mine are different though and costed about 150 bucks) about 2 weeks ago they should be here anyday now....hopefully they work out well! I will post pics when i do it
  3. ok that clears up what i was saying then i thought u were converting a vg30i to a vg33e instead of the vg30e to a vg33e so yeah that should be pretty darn easy then!

  5. its on jack stands on the front...the problem is my upper ball joint which is attached to the hub isnt anywhere near close enough to each the uca
  6. I tried moving it all over the place i guess ill take pictures tomorrow and some of you have that done it before and might know what end is suppose to go on first let me know
  7. Hey all, I am writing this from my phone right now....I need the order to installing the ball joints....I have the top one pressed into the hub and the bottom is not attached. I currently have the bottom one held in with 1 bolt and the hub slide up under it but even with the lower ball joint almost completly loose I can't get it anywhere near the uca to bolt in the top 4 bolts. I do have a 3" lift and I have the otherside together but I can't remember how I did it I took it apart so many times like 3 weeks ago.
  8. your probably going to need a newer pathfinder ecu from like a 90-95 and a vg30e wireharness to make it work right unless u like wiring....talk to king man he swapped from a vg30i to a vg30e from a 300zx and had to do a lot of rewiring and a vg33e is pretty much just like a vg30e so if he got the vg30e to work you can get the vg33e to run. My only thought is how does the ecu compensate for the bigger motor and stuff im not sure if u would need a tune either. read up and talk to kingman

I know how you feel man i just brought mine for a alignment about a month ago and got told it was 1300$ so i took it home and I have had to replace both front cv's, all uca bushings, sway bar end link and bushings, all 4 ball joints, shocks, steering stabilizer, center link, and all 4 tie rod ends for under 400 bucks. All of that was brand new about 2 years ago and I just had to do it again...little ridiculous how fast that stuff wears out with just a 3" suspension lift and hardly ever off roading.
  10. all 3 of my maxima alternators (1 was of a jy car and 2 were new) didnt have that black wire on them. I havent installed the one on my pathfinder yet only on my 2 z's
  11. look for 350z performance parts...pretty sure it has the vq35de in it
  12. pathfinder has been down for a while. I have replaced. all 4 uca bushings, all 4 tie rod ends, center link, steering stablizer, all 4 ball joints, both axles, painting the front bumper, rear bumper, newer style spoiler, 3rd brake light install, fixed the door handle, new fender painted, mirrors painted, hardbody grill painted and corner lights painted to match, brush gaurd powder coated, cleaned up frame and repainted it, fixing the rocker panels so theres no rust, cleaned air box in dash, rewired a 4 cig outlet in(hidden in glove box), new leds for the floor lights, bought a universal hid projector kit for the headlights(waiting for that to come in) bought all new speakers for the front and rear might were comppletly toast no wonder they sounded like @!*%. changed all the brake pads, also installed new front sway bar bushings and end links. I cleaned up my headers and exhuast and flowmaster 40 series and magnoflo high flow cat and got 2.5" exhaust now. replaced the leds in the clear corners up front, upgraded the front fogs to 100watt bulbs, cleaned the engine bay up and did the valve cover gaskets and new speedo cable. So yeah alot of money has been dropped into this POS in the last week so hopefully im done fixing it for a while now. I will post pics up when its all done!

  14. got my new fender painted and also got a 3rd brake light painted i am going to add to my 92 se
  15. mine does it too i think its the rear hatch or drivers side door only does it turning hard rights for me. I just leave mine flipped to the off position and turn it on if i need it.

  17. well compared to my 92 that seems really slow probably bus length you in a race lol. I also have full exhaust(headers 2.5" high flow cat and performance muffler truck tip) and cold air intake though and a 5 speed idk how much that actually matters though. My needle from 50-80 is quicker so I think something isn't running right Ill see if i can get someone to hold a camera when i do it i obvious cant and shift and hold the wheel lol
  18. defiantly the tbelt same thing happened to my old 93 se when i was driving. Tbelt snapped and fskced everything up.
  19. the water is so much cleaner than it is here lol! ..... nice looking pathy too!
  20. bought replacement leds for lighting up the floor at night. washed and wax it....still needs a good buff. going to start rust repair soon!
  21. i had installed need belts and they are loud wine noise and you can hear it until like 50 then my exhuast is to loud. what rpm does your motor idle at?
