  1. Not sure if that was a joke? But anyways... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19867
  2. We could probably discuss this for days! But I'm an import guy, so I would probably choose Nissan or Toyota.. But with 4800 you can probably get more bang for your buck with a Nissan.
  3. Year: 2000 SE lift : Stock front, OME 922 rear Wheels : Stock Tires : BFG AT 265/70/16 (30.7") Notes: Used to rub a little at full lock in reverse when new, now they don't at about 50% tread. Old pic, but suspension or wheels/tires haven't changed.
  4. I did this today, I left the old studs in, and have about 1 thread exposed once they are torqued down. My question is: the stock hubs didn't use a washer, so when i put the warn's on i didn't use a washer either.. In the warn instructions they showed them using a washer, lock washer and a nut. My bag of hardware didn't come with lock washers, just washers.. Do you think it's okay to keep it the way i have it? If i have to add a washer it means ill have to replace the studs too as they will be too short, not too excited to do that. Thanks.
  5. My spare is the factory as well, (I want to say Bridgestone Dueler HT? But i haven't looked down there in a while). I was thinking next set of tires I buy that I should buy 5. Does anyone know if a 31x10.5x15 will fit underneath? I have a roof box so putting it up on the roof isn't an option.
  6. Agreed, when I recently did my brakes I was able to get half decent brand name stuff (hawk and zimmerman) pads and rotors off autopartsway.ca for cheaper than no-name stuff from Lordco.
  7. So thats what the tool looks like! When i repacked the bearing i just used a punch to take it off, and when i put it back on same thing, tightened it up, spun the wheel a few times and then backed it off a little.. Poor mans wheel bearing torque method
  8. Regardless of what other types of tires people have tried, everyone who has ran the Duratracs seems to like them.. That's gotta say something! How many miles are you guys getting out of a set?
  9. I should clarify a bit, I meant hard packed snow (highways etc.). I find the performance pretty good actually in deeper snow. The wear I got out of them wasn't great IMO, but I haven't really tried other AT's. Do you do much driving on snow covered highways with the Duratracs?
  10. I'm currently running BFG AT's, I like the look and how they handle on and off road, but I find they lack a bit in the snow, especially now that they are down to about 40% (not sure if this would be an issue for you). I've heard good things about Goodyear Duratracs, I think I might try them next time round (not sure if they are considered an AT or MT though?). Evan.
  11. Post pics once you get it all installed, i don't think ive ever personally seen any pictures of anyone with the LD front springs.. And for tires, will you be driving in the snow? Do you want AT's, MT's, or just street tires?
  12. I did some searching, but nothing seems to match this. Basically whenever i turn sharply, when parking and stuff, and over speed bumps too. I figure its nothing more than an annoyance, but has anyone had this? It's driving me insane, and everyones looking at me! EDIT: I just drove it home and i feel like an idiot.. but now im sure its coming from the passenger front wheel area. It's dark out, and i live in an apartment so i have nowhere to take the wheel off or anything for the next few days.. Any ideas? It's still when turning mostly, and over bigger bumps its pretty bad..
  13. I lived in Jasper for six months a few years ago!
  14. Suddenly, the 2005-2012 models don't look so bad... and, nice door handles.
  15. Not much in BC yet, the ski resorts are hurtin, like 10-15 cms for the whole month of December so far. No snow has really stayed on the ground in Kamloops. Global warming!?
  16. Devonianwalk, party because i know how much work it was getting the truck running again after that day!
  17. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=31854 not saying you want an r50, but seeing something like this makes me think the price is way too high
  18. Love that blue colour that they had on the "older" r50's like yours!
  19. What was the backspacing on those wheels?
  20. Good question, I'm confused over this thread too!
  21. X2 on the pic of the rear bumper! I think they look awesome

    AutoPartsWay

Hey guys, just wanted to share my good experience with AutoPartsWAY Definitely the best prices I have found in Canada, and the brake pads and rotors that i ordered were at my door within a few days. Free shipping too! They are giving away a chance to win gift certificates to the website for sharing, so spread the word!
  23. Yeah, mines fricken loud!!!! People look at me at stoplights when it happening so I clutch out these days when I stop.. If you find out anything definite about your problem, please share.
  24. Mines been getting worse for the last 2 years, same thing, only when clutch is depressed, sometimes between shifts when the cars cold. I talked to a Nissan mechanic I randomly met, he said it was the release bearing, common problem, doesn't mean clutch is going out he said..
  25. I had something similar, it was the ring that the tailgate latches to (above the bumper) Apparently there is some black plastic over the ring when it comes from the factory. I just used some electrical tape wrapped around the ring and it solved the problem
