  1. My future plans require a few extra battery connections. One at a time, but I figure do the job once and make it easier for future add-ons. Backup camera unit (pictures will be on my thread...probably tomorrow), dual battery system monitor, eventually lighting going to the future roof rack, etc. What's the best way to tap off the battery? I'm considering ditching the stock accessory outlet and running direct 12V fused from the battery and inserting multiple taps from that location. Dual accessory outlet being one of them (gps and cell charger). I'm also going to run a dual accessory outlet to the rear, but will probably be a direct line fused from the battery...unless I do the tap in the dash and I can just tee off from there....sort of like a terminal board. Suggestions? Tips? Am I forgetting anything? Fridge? Should I use a "Painless Kit"? http://www.jegs.com/i/Painless/764/70107/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710738229&catargetid=1784156489&cadevice=c&&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CLCMvqGtv7oCFRGi4AodoxoAiQ Also, my rear camera requires direct power inside the lift gate, but I think I can just tap off existing wiring....
  2. Tried to just 'like' it. "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day" lol! That's the same one that I had to replace recently.
  3. You can see the extension in the 1st pic. The center 1/3 of the rack. (I was looking at this rack for a while....have decided on steel, so I can weld on mounts/tabs/etc. myself) Rack http://www.amazon.com/Curt-18115-Roof-Mounted-Cargo/dp/B004O844DS/ref=pd_bxgy_auto_img_y Extension http://www.amazon.com/Curt-18117-Mounted-Cargo-Extension/dp/B004O844EM/ref=pd_bxgy_auto_img_y#productDetails
  4. Is the rear main as easy to fix as a Jeep? Or do we have to drop the trans?
  5. I think it was this stuff. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Bar-s-Rear-main-seal-repair/_/N-260b?itemIdentifier=426114_0_0_ I posted it before, but can't find my old post.
  6. I 'fixed' my RMS drip with some additive from Autozone. So far, so good.
  7. Good start. I say stick with the OG grill. Don't forget skid plates.
  8. At least go out with someone else that has a tow strap. LSV caught me once too when bleeding the brakes.
  9. This thread needs more pics. How many miles when the gasket gave up the ghost?
  10. If it runs fine, my wager is on the O2 sensor.
  11. Express Tire in California does my truck, no questions. IMHO, NEVER go to Pep Boys for service work. YMMV. I spring for the 3 year alignment, since I bump the tire on nature every now and again.
  12. I don't see why not. It truly depends on how the dvd player is wired in. More than likely it's an audio(red or/and white)/video(yellow) RCA style jack. You'll just have to run an adapter from the red or/and white RCA jack if that's the case.
  13. I'm sorry....I don't know about using spacers. I don't have any installed.
  14. Don't recall, but did you replace the fuel filter? It's a quick $5 job....gas will leak everywhere...even if you follow the directions in the manual...
  15. Grabbed me once too... Always remember to pull your hitch when offroading.
  16. I meant the ones posting the link as a response to the Spam. It's a spam advert.
  17. I also did the OME and my results were about the same. I think if you go with OME and go soft springs, you may get less. I did stiff front and medium rear.
  18. You're not the first to mention this with the AC lift...I'm wondering if all persons that have needed the camber kits have the AC lift....?
  19. Towing a running vehicle is not only not safe, it is illegal. I'm pretty certain that towing a vehicle backwards, besides being not safe, is also illegal.
  20. That's what I have as well, but I have the OME 2" lift springs in there.
  21. ^2nd that. After the install, get an alignment....see if you're lucky like me.
  22. Nope. Didn't happen...no pics OR video.
