  1. Really? 4-5 week wait sounds a little excessive. I got mine (with mounted tires) in 7-8 days IIRC.
  2. ... or deleting it using the code reader!
  3. Me too. I'm glad I "ponyed up" for them though. Greatest set if tires I've ever purchased.
  4. I did mine all at once. If I were to do one before the other, I'd go with the tires/wheels (read Ferrariowner) first.
  5. Been roaming these parts since the 1940's?
  6. Sounds like the # off center field goal (4 for those who count normal) plug.
  7. I have the special socket in my tool kit but, I've never used it. An eight inch 3/8's extension along with a universal swivel is all you need. I did loosen my break lines on the fire wall in order to make the #6 plug removal easier. It really is easier to get to than you think!
  8. Crazy. I've always wondered what an R50 would look like all "grown up".
  9. I haven't had to deal with a situation like your but, I'd do it if you are already that far into the project. I just went into my wife's Prelude for the third time this afternoon to replace a head bolt that was (hopefully) causing a minor oil leak. I kept thinking to my self how a job that originally cost me several months took just two hours!
  10. Yep. I'm with these guys. Super glad to see you keep it!
  11. Torque them properly. I have no issues other than the fillings keep falling out of my teeth, for some raisin, whenever I break hard? Well, maybe the fall out for no raisin at all!
  12. What's wrong with lugcentric?
  13. I was just about to poke a hole in my Miata's trunk when I realized I had grabbed the wife's Honda key!

    1. nunya

      nunya

      can't hurt it, it's only a miata

  14. Got mine at a big box auto parts store for around $160-170'ish. Easy install.
  15. Same here. I still need to take the time to replace the drivers side gasket.
  16. I have a buddy that has a "Rat rod" and uses an old Everclear glass bottle. He had to put clear coat on the paper label to keep it from peeling off.
  17. Ever hold a fart so long you swallowed it?

  18. ahfroe7439 thj4-wt jwerpt[- Damnit cat, get off of my keyboard!

  19. Hurry back! And make sure to tell the new owner about us.
  20. Talk about dodging a bullet. Glad the VG33 is fine.
  21. I managed to loose the nut that holds the end link to mine while tooling around off-road a few months ago. At this point, I am absolutely certain that I had forgot to tighten the nut when I replaced the end link. I drove the hour and a half trip home with the link "zip tied" to the strut to keep it from getting caught in the suspension. I could tell a huge difference in handling and was nervous the whole trip home. I'd recommend leaving it in place until you get the new part.
