  1. You put 33's on and expect it to not rub? Wow. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...&hl=fender+trim
  2. Cool beans, man! Good thinking and mods.
  3. Well, what's the ride height look like? Is it low to the ground? Is it cranked up? Aftermarket wheels? Knobby tires? We can't work with nothing...
  4. I spread a thin layer of blue silicone on both sides of the gasket before putting on the pump and mine hasn't leaked a drop since. Just an idea.
  5. On HB's. Apparently not on Pathfinders. *shrug*
  6. I just stop and put it in neutral, then shift the t-case to 4LO. Never had any problems with mine.
  7. I removed the L&P link cause they are no longer L&P and Phil apparently doesn't make them anymore.
  8. If you have 31's on it can rub in stock shape, though with stock wheels it's hardly ever an issue. Trim the airdam so it doesn't rub. I'd do it equally on both sides so it looks even. You can also crank up the t-bar on that side a little to keep it away from the airdam...
  9. Yeah, they say that if the belt gets coolant on it it will degrade the belt and it should be replaced.
  10. What about small claims court? You could sue Phil for the effort. I don't think it takes much. Just make it a suit against Phil personally, Lee didn't have anything to do with it. I wouldn't want to see poor Lee get screwed over more than once...
  11. Why is that? The CV's would be at a better angle and probably wouldn't bind as easily. That's the whole holdup with using the full IFS potential, if you lift it too much the CV's bind and wreck themselves.
  12. Yeah, but the struts have fixed mounting points, so you can't put a longer one in there. That's the problem, they have to collapse when you shut the lid too.
  13. Here we are...from Nissanoffroad.net: http://www.nissanoffroad.net/old%5Fboard/t...Terms=diff,drop
  14. PatZX300 tried the SLR bushings, I think...
  15. Locked or spooled IFS front diffs tend to destroy themselves much faster than LSD-equipped IFS. I dunno. I haven't really looked at the innards of an R200, but it would seem feasible to be able to build a mini-spool if you have the equipment needed to spline the insides of it. I'd take one if you had extras. Build us some front diff drop bushings while you're at it so I can quit destroying CV's!
  16. OE812: How do you propose the hatch go higher than the hinges already allow?
  17. It would be cheaper and easier to simply go over the VG30i and get it running right. Replacing one thing at a time simply doesn't cut the mustard, you have to take off the TB and clean everything out, test and replace all the switches and sensors and make sure everything is like new...otherwise it will just run like that until the day it dies. There are MORE ways for a VG30E to run bad than there are on the VG30i. The only real benefit I can see for doing a swap like this is an additional 7 HP...
  18. Nissans need more support for everything on the list except winches and recovery gear. That stuff is universal. Diff drop bushings would be AWESOME. I've been looking at my front diff and thinking about how to get it lower for quite some time. I also found out that the SLR bushings($150 a pair!!) don't fit WD21's, so we have nothing available.
  19. Yeah...have fun ordering parts from Japan when something needs replacing.
  20. That looks right to me. If it helps you any, I have a 95 bumper on my 88.
  21. Could be, the TC doesn't usually lock up when you're driving around in 2 and 3 gears around town. I don't think it's ever supposed to lock in first. I could be wrong. Got any particles in the pan? Checked yet? I forget, sorry.
  22. I wipe off the excess with rags and then run the parts through my parts washer full of WD-40. Heh. CV grease is slightly easier to remove than axle grease.
  23. I'd try to take the pitman arm off first. If you can't get it off with a small puller, try to find a bigger, stronger puller, maybe from an auto parts place that loans/rents them. One of the problems getting off the big pitman arms is finding a socket or wrench big enough to reliably take off the damn nut holding it on.
  24. It's a great idea. CV's are easy to rebuild and when you get them apart to clean up you'll be able to tell if they have any kind of damage inside. I've done three or four boots on mine already and they work fine.
