  2. Now that this has been bumped up, OP- anything to report? I got a brushguard today, so now I have an excuse to get the HDs all around (that is, whenever i'm not poor)
  3. ...you've fueled his ego, this won't end well
  4. accompanied by a loaf of home made bread topped with butter.
  5. So I guess the amount of turn around time depends on the dealer, then? pix like I say in my thread, not sure what to do. If the dealer here can get it done (correctly) in a timely manner, that makes things easier. To OP- sorry to threadjack. Hope I can get the same results as yourself.
  6. Im in NOrthern Virginia. A nice 50ish today. Ridic. Honestly contemplatting my next truck to be a 2wd, since I hardly ever (never) go off road and we have yet to see any real snow, aside from the late 2009 and early 2010 blizzards.
  7. Looks like the roguano mated with the new Patrol
  8. True in regards to safety stuff. Too bad they don't realize its sometimes (imho more often than not) due to bad driving skills, not the cars safety skills. And don't hate on us spineless caR50s, it's bad for moral around here.
  9. funny thing is, all these CUVs get mileage that isn't so great as the station wagons and sedans of yesteryear. Our 96 camry with the 2.2(?), 5 speed and 181k miles consistantly gets hand calculated 42ish hihgway. Yet the brand new ford whatevers are "boasting" 40mpg. . . . 16 years later. You;d think that given the amount of time, they'd be offering us a 60mpg car. el oh el. Consumer demand works only so much. There is a demand for a small, fuel efficient pickup. Not really happening here, aside from the Ranger. (Frontier and Taco are somewhat fuel efficient, but no diesels here) So sorry to get off topic On topic- the "new" pathfinder isn't much of a pathfinder at all. Ill take my unibody (that carried about 200ish lbs of wood chips today)
  10. So the new nissan confirmed pathfinder is what appears to be a murano or rogue or whatever. Lame. Looks like nissan 4x4s will be widdled down to the Frontier (I thought I read somewhere that the Titan was being axed?) Fine by me. Rather have no 4x4 than a crossover deemed SUV (a la 2011 exploder, anyone?)
  11. R50's have a 21 gallon tank. 8-10, well damn. If i'm doing mostly highway at 70-75, I can get about 19.whatever. I have a 5 speed and the manual front hubs. With the hubs I saw an almost 2mpg increase on highway trips. Like others have said, check 02 and stuff. Also, might as well do a tune up. Do you still have power and oomphf? Maybe timing is off . . .
  12. 2 Reasons to go to Alaska- 1) No handgun carry permit required to CC 2) The scenerey/wildlife. Oh, nice r50 btw, looks good
  13. Give me a date and pay for my gas and i'm in.
  14. oops, I am a little late to the welcoming committee. I still have mixed feelings on what I think about the newer frontiers, but you did yours right
  15. I'd say write down a list of pro's and con's, as well as cost comparisons-I wasn't able to conclude if your other routes entailed getting a different rig for rock crawling? Could always pick up a beater 4x4 and convert it and keep the path to tow or DD
  16. I just started having this today. Ive had new trailing arms and bushings in a few months ago. Problem is i'm 400 miles from home. . . will this be a potential safety problem?

    Tattoos

x2 on the Infidel tattoo...i'm doign similar at some point- infidel over a maltese cross..if they want to call me a western crusader, i'd hate to disappoint I'm going to my own thread and ask- For those of you who own your own buisness or are in charge of hiring, what do you/ your management/ company policy think/say about forearm tattoos? I'm fast approaching my college graduation date and will be job hunting soonish. I am looking for preferrably law enforcement, governmetn or Nonprofit work. Yet, I have an itching for more ink and have a few pieces in mind, however 2 of them are on my forearms (1 piece per forearm)- i'd prolly only get one done anytime soon. As I understand that the job market is becoming a little more lax on tattoo policies, I am wondering if I should ohold off? (even though I anticipate wearing oxford and tie to work most the time). Thanks Oh here is my most recent addition
  19. They should fit, from my understanding/research. . .if not, resell em

    Halloween

As I put off finishing a paper on a house of representatives member (GOP), I thought about halloween. In a few weeeks, what's everyone doing? Ill be brutally honest- I intened on drinking a significant amoutn of beer (cut me some slack, I abstain about 98% of the rest of the time). I Going as a Rhodesian Farmer- chest rig=more places to hold beer! I know Adamzan is going as a moose (inside joke). Let's hear everyone's plans
