Someone should get a 4x4 d21 with a camper on it and somehow cram a titan's 5.6 under the hood. Problem, REI?
-
Id save $$ and get mile markers. Mine work fine and I have the chrome stockers on the XE trim. If anything find some 6 lugs from a jy and have your tires put on it if your wheels do not work with the manual hubs.

Pay for a tattoo or a gun.

You'll be ok...so will fido. Snake won't really do anything unless it feels threatened. Maybe try to bait it out with some mice or something.

From what i've seen/read, it is possible, but most people concur that its cheaper and easier to just buy a 4x4. What about hilux's and navaras/d22's? THey get all the nifety diesels, don't they?

On the 1998 there shouldnt be any problems. I installed mine a few thousand miles ago and have notcied an increase in mpgs...about .75-2mpg increase. Easy to do. No worries about oil pressure or lack thereof in our model transfer case. Should be good to go

These people are just being nice. R50's have more problems than a pedo on a playground. They suck, you should get a Toyota. in all seriousness, the R50 is very capable and more than generous for moving into/out of ocllege dorms (speaking form first hand experience here). Make sure belts and all otehr common sense work has been done (it sounds like it, if it has been babied) and aside from obscene gas prices, you have nothing to worry about. Just don't expect to 0-60 anyone very quick (maybe an fj60) or make it work like a dually f250 and you should be fine and dandy. I am at 142k on my 98 5-speed, so it's just getting wet behind the ears. So long as I can afford gas for it, there is no reason to get rid of it. I hope to take it to 250k

When I can pick my without cost influence, it would be Newcastle or Killians. Soda would prolly be ginger ale or vanilla coke. Have to have my :coffee!: with flavored creamer and there is always good old ice water.

These have been answered numerous times and are so easily accessible you don't even have to be able to use http://npora.ipbhost.com/index.php?showforum=67 usually helps to post in the new member section with pix as well. -
fillled her up...18mpg 40% highway 60% city

wow and I thought it was weird carting a 2 day old dead snapping turtle around in the trunk until I could get it to a field to deposit it... thats crazy. Kinda odd to think about how they are alike, a dead human body and a dead animal body...no difference at that point.

looks good and welcome! Wish I had gotten a wd21 or R50 as my first car...make sure yo boy counts his blessings!

and get a system that alerts you when someone is in it when the sytem is set. Siletn alert system+AK47= fewer criminals. Especially at night "officer, he had his hand in his pocket and it was dark" That sucks hardcore. And ive been there with the title snafu, PITA getting another one.Hope they get caught and beaten

Family outing, carried bikes on hitch mounted bike rack and drove it all over suburbia...new tires and trailing arms make a night and day difference...and felt like mroe leg room than the back seats of our camry

picked up from teh shop and cursed said shop...not very good buisness decisions on their behalf, especially for a family that is almost a decade of repeat buisness. Will post gritty details in members rig section later

got the Dr. Bill- needs tires, belts (iknew allthis). Getting those as well as front pads, trailing arm bushings and water pump. Nice chunk of change

if youre mostly dd'ing/mall crawling, the wrangler could get to be annoying with the amount of noise due to the removeable sheet metal that passes as doors. BOnus is you have a solid front axle off road. Personally id go with a pathfinder or 4runner, but if I had my druthers id take a 100 series land cruiser if I had to get an SUV that wasn't an R50

Dropped 'er off at the mechanic. New trailing arm bushings (polyurethane ones) going in, getting the front end a check up and a tire estimate (30x9.5x15)
