  1. Cabin? There's PLENTY! lol. It's 1984 Audi 4000s quattro that is sadly going to the scrap heap this weekend. Sold a whole bunch of parts off it for 700$+. and im making money on scrapping it, it is what it is...
  2. I get harsh 1-2, 3 is like whut? And 4th is pretty normal. When cold. Lol.
  3. thanks! I dunno why. But I've always liked these wheels. Plus they give it a wider stance that I like. But not to much, they still tuck. Yeah. I love the woods in our area.
  4. Added some new to me wheels! Much better stance and look over all... But then i played around on shale, and lost a tire. So it's running the silly stock spare until i get a new one. Decided to play around with some editing features i found on photobucket
  5. So a hanging caliper could make the passenger side one grab harder? Or harder than the other side atkeast?
  6. Huh, well I went out messing around in logging roads and now when I stomp on the brakes my truck pulls hard right and the right side wheel feels like it kicks up. So I'm Thinking the drivers side caliper isn't moving freely like it should and isn't stopping right.
  7. Got and installed a 100% new Cv shaft. Took me about and hour and I went into it knowing very little about what I was doing. Was easier than a wd21 since no upper ball joint to mess with. But the abs sensor is a biotch. Now just the otherside and fix the brake click. Which I'm thinking is brake caliper or stuck/bent slide bolts from having a loose caliper bracket bolt.
  8. Yeah. Haha. Only way to tell is to take it out. That should be an 89 or down cluster as the 4doors didn't come with an orange dash in the states anyway. '90 is when they went white
  9. It's not hard to pull the cluster, so if you have it, check it out.
  10. What year is the cluster out of? I know I tried to swap an Se cluster into one of my post '90 pathfinders and the plugs were different. But the older trucks should have the same wiring.
  11. That's the Thibg. I've removed the wheels many times. And a while back I figured out I had a loose caliper bracket bolt. I tightned it up as soon as I noticed. But I can't tell if or what it would have messed up. I've got a hook up on cvs. So I can get both fairly cheapy.
  12. Well, i get the clunk while driving in 2wd, just down the road... cv's not engaged. and when i hit the brakes i get one solid metal on metal THUD or something.
  13. Compression rod? I don't think r50s have compression rods.... Lower control arm bushings maybe? Yeah, it when clank clank clank and then NOTHING and then 2wd. Lol.
  14. Cv shaft finally gave in... Was out messing around in the sand it blew up while spinning around in a circle. So my question. Could the cvs being worn out cause a clunk on bumps? I had this clunk before it blew up. And it's still there. But I'm not sure if that's it. I also get a metal hitting metal sound when I hit the brake. I know I have some play in either the inner tierod end on the passenger side is screwed up. Or the steering rack. 72$ for a new shaft. And both of them are gonna need done... One at a time!
  15. Or in the engine bay to the left if you're looking under the hood on the firewall. Silver plate.
  16. If you disable the clutch safety switch you will be able to start the truck in gear with the clutch not having to be pushed In. Thus the truck will lurch forward and can hit something as a result.
  17. Afaik the only thing the clutch safety switch does is not allow the starter to engage or turn... It should be able to roll start. I've done it many times on cars that have this switch. And my brother has a 92 s10 with one that does it. I find it really odd that it won't start. Hopefully the op has the key turned to the "run" position during push starting.
  18. How sturdy is the Curt rack? Does anyone know? I'm looking to get a basket to add at least 7 offroad lights too, but i'm not sure if it will be strong enough to not allow the lights to wobble around off road. Thanks for any input!
  19. if you get a lock-rite or something of the same idea, it will only lock up when one tire begins to spin I.E. off road, or when cornering hard on the gas on pavement. other than that they're pretty tame from what i understand.
  20. No cel. Idle is about 750 as of today. And the drive idle is a little less. Over all I'm much happier now to just fix the slight up and down in the idle.
  21. Wish mine CAME with the factory one... more reason to get an aftermarket bumper or have someone build me one
  22. Mister510 has a 33x10.50 Super swamper on the back of his truck... that's a wd21 though. R50's should be better braced one would think?
  23. No, because your CV's aren't turnig thus causing "grip" (all four tires fighting eachother on pavement.) ever tried turning on dry pavement in 4wd? you pretty much can't.
  24. iacv turned all the way down now, idles 900-1000 rpms. it fluctuates now. more so than before. almost like the same pulse i get when accelerating. the little round disc filter thingy clicks now. and it idles about 650 in drive. something else is the problemo.... on to look for the fast idle cam BS.
