Where can I find what OEM part was used?
Kyle94 replied to mega4ce's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I think he wants what BRANDS the nissan factory assembled the cars with originally. From what it sounds like. -
I'm curious as to how you got the cuts right for the strut tower spacers... The engine blocks and what not are pretty straight forward but the strut spacers are what are holding me back from making my own kit. I can't afford 800$ right now... Did you weld or just bolt in your subframe and engine blocks?

Torque!

Can't remember all that well, but I think I've hit 45 in my auto??
-
Abs shuts off when you put it in 4wd. And the air bags are now in effective all the time... Whoops. Yes I have an lsv. But my truck is lifted so idk how effective it will be anymore. Yes the abs can be nice. But I'd rather not...

Guess it's time for ANOTHER thread... :/

Yeah i have a timing light, it's weird. the fsm tells you to adjust it with the tps unplugged... so when you plug the tps back in..... the timing goes off? dafuq? Im thinking the coolant temp sensor maybe to blame, the idle gets lower the longer i run it. still idles sort of up and down.. -
190,130. over 6k miles since sept when i bought it.
-
Yeah... my friend decided to stand on the roof as i was rummaging around in my recovery gear for the strap and d ring...
-
Also. A wd would have been dead. The water was up to the bottom of the seats and then some. Damn near up to the center console. Ecu would have been toast. Haha. Helps that my truck is a little lifted. And glad my stereo amps are in th cargo area that is even higher. I'll be getting stuff to make a shop vac snorkel.
-
Nope. Still runs like a champ. abs light is on and abs doesn't work. And the air bag light flashes. Other than being wet all is well. Couldn't ask for a better truck. Taking the carpet out tomorrow. So glad the ecu is in the dash on an r50.
-
Drowned it with 6" of water in the cab! lots of water in the cylinders as well. Glad it wasn't revved high when I did it!!!
-
Noooo. Lol. Maybe buy another with tax time. But idk.
-
I was just being a smartass lol. No need to get your panties twisted. lol. But really. If i were to get another wd it'd get an r50 console. I love it.
-
I like my stock R50 Center console. lol... Couldn't ask for anything better.
-
Sound goes away if I unplug it. I could have just gotten another faulty alternator? I mean the alternator still makes sound. But my cb and stuff is fine.
-
I think I have? I honestly don't remember. I'll go try it now. Haha. Forgot to mention. I also ran the wires (unbidden/untucked) straight through the truck without touching anything, no change.
-
.... My cb is ran straight to the battery no where close To the stereo stuff? My rcas are ran on the opposite side of the truck from my power wire.
-
The ground, i tried using the factory, and i also tried running a ground to various other places.. no dice. The factory bose amps have been bypassed and all new wire ran. im running an external door speaker amp.
-
No, i but i tried that. Still whined. And yes, goes up and down with the engine rpms..
-
Yes to pioneer, and yes i've already looked up the common issues and tried grouding the deck/rca's. The truck itself is where the sound is coming from.. As it comes over my CB as well. I just can't figure out what. For now i have two RCA inline filters, and i just ordered a power line filter for my CB. and unless the Alternator fails. i give up trying to find it. lol
-
Plugs are new. And anything I run directly to the battery whines.
-
Well changing the alternator (tested good) didn't get rid of the whine/ Sounds like its still coming from the alternator.... Could i have the belt to tight? The noise im getting i can hear from the engine bay. and from any electrical sound output in my truck (cb, door speakers, subwoofer.....)
-
I have nexen roadian MT's. They do great. There was one spot in a parking lot is what really set me off (read pissed me off). The ABS engaged when i barely had my foot on the pedal, and wouldn't let me stop. Almost rear ended a minivan if i hadn't of put it on the curb. I was going like 5 mph.
-
Junkyard alternator installed, new alternator belt and power steering belt. AC belt was a basically new nissan belt. Now no more squealing when i turn the steering wheel! ABout to go check and see if my stereo/electrical whine went away.
-
I think this weekend (granted my steering rack bushings get here) ill be bleeding all of my brake system. if i had the money i'd get the rear drums turned (they're warped). Along with replacing my tie rod end and alternator, alternator belt, and power steering belt. Hopefully get rid of most of my issues dangit! lol
