  1. Welcome to the site (formally) ! haha. i'm curious to see how the blue/grey looks. I can sorta picture it in my head. Ha. What part of oregon are you from? looks like you got hit by the strange week of snow we did a couple weeks back. I'm 'bout 40mins up from portland.
  2. Probably had factory locking nissan hubs from a v6 hardbody. r50's never came with manual hubs. only drive plates which make the cv shafts turn full time. Where the part time 4x4 comes into play. It is a gooooooood upgrade if you had worn cv shafts, mine were really bad and i couldnt afford to replace them both at the same time haha. and they vibrated bad. Also, you'll see a very slight increase in mpg
  3. wasn't trying to be mean haha. just thought a blower motor was a common enough issue and most knew what it was. its all good.
  4. ......this is your blower motor for your heating and aircondtioning..... or are you kidding?
  5. to change a cv you need to take off the hubs, un snap the snap ring either using pliers or screwdrivers (screwdrivers takes talent!), unbolt the upper ball joint, and most likely the brake caliper so the hose doesn't get stretched. Inbetween that, im not sure. It's been a while since i've done cv's on a wd21. haha. my car50 was a lot easier.
  6. Stuck brake caliper/wheel cylinder front/rear..... Sunday i stole all of my stereo equipment out of it and put it in the sentra.
  7. I really really want LE wheels. But I'm sure shipping would kill the price you want for them.
  8. Make sure you have the plug wires ran to the right plugs/spots on the dizzy!
  9. I'll take those LE wheels off your hands.
  10. If it gets opened back up I have a picture to throw up... I totally spaced totm.
  11. Robbed the first part from the pathy tonight (one of the few that's the same) Passenger side headlight.
  12. Took it to seattle yesterday. 180 miles on $20! And I still have a little gas lol. 360 miles total trip and it did great minus the front end shimmy from warped rotors and maybe tires out of balance up front.
  13. Oh yeah. Haha. Also fixed the cruise today. Light worked and everything was there. Pulled the vac hose off the cable pump, and the hose was split. Chopped the end off and it works great!
  14. Now I don't have to be afraid of leaving it alone unlocked. Cuz clearly a shaved key works in the ignition!
  15. Turns out the keys I got for the car. One was for the glove box only. The other (I've been using it for he the ignition) doesn't unlock the doors. So I took it down to have a key made for the locks and to see f maybe they were just frozen. He told me that I'd have to bring the lock In out of the car at first. Then told me nissan and all the others (Infiniti, etc) have a sticker in the glove box most times. Told me if it's there I'm really lucky. Lo and behold! He told me I should go buy a lotto ticket. So the key I've been using for the ign doesn't even go to this car!!
  16. Meh, rotor should be plenty strong? my dad's '06 chevy 1500 on 35's lost a tire (dealership fault, wrong lug nuts) and all it did was grind a small flat spot on it and chew a few lugs. repaired it on the side of the road and he took it in to get the fender fixed.
  17. Wasn't In a rush. We just simply for got to check them.
  18. Also pulled the fender most of the way back to normal. Just a few creased dents. But it lines up with the door again and doesn't hit. So I'm happy
  19. People make mistakes it's whatever. Also figured out today that the power steering return line got wedged under the pulley when lowering the engine down in. So it ate a slit in the hose. Had a spare pump with hoses so free fix. car is 100% besides warped rotors. And the windows refuse to Defog!
  20. Everything else was fine. Yeah the wheel fell of. I was taking it easy the first few mins because we just got it back together. We put the wheels on long before we rolled er out.
