  1. Thabks guys. I'll see if I can poke around in mine later today. Was looking in a junkyard car yesterday.
  2. So lately my pathy has been shifting at high (REALLY high!) rpms. im talking 5-6k bouncing off the rev limiter (no i don't do it all the time, i just know it will!) and only when cold. a while ago i submerged it and got a few things wet. but other than the abs light flashing (computer got wet) its been fine. well now i think corrosion has got the best of the TCU (transmission control unit) but i can't find the bugger. google says its near the shifter, and is a silver/bare metal box with a blue plug (ive seen pics) but i can't find it. anyone care to shed some light? 1998 Auto SE
  3. I took at as he thought the 1.5" spacers were only gonna give him .5" period. Big deal.
  4. oh oh oh, i read the spacers will only go up .5.... forgot he already had 1"
  5. pedal to the metal? the cvt must really suck more than i thought! he is also the reason that today's midsize suv's SUCK. "not everyone is going to be taking their midsize suv's off road in these conditions" LOL my truck could have crawled up that with ease!
  6. let me know how the 2" springs work with the 1.75" spacers! i want to do the same for my saggy front end! lol
  7. I put mine next to the shifter, passenger side left leg angled to the drivers view. Looks pretty clean. I'd post but I'm on my phone. So maybe tomorrow Oh and my cb antenna is drilled and mounted into my rear bumper drivers side.
  8. Km2's I absolutely hate and don't understand why BFg went soft with the km2's. Loved my km's however.
  9. Orange sticker on the read differential. And jack it up and see if they turn the same way.
  10. Probably had factory locking nissan hubs from a v6 hardbody. r50's never came with manual hubs. only drive plates which make the cv shafts turn full time. Where the part time 4x4 comes into play. It is a gooooooood upgrade if you had worn cv shafts, mine were really bad and i couldnt afford to replace them both at the same time haha. and they vibrated bad. Also, you'll see a very slight increase in mpg
  11. wasn't trying to be mean haha. just thought a blower motor was a common enough issue and most knew what it was. its all good.
  12. ......this is your blower motor for your heating and aircondtioning..... or are you kidding?
  13. to change a cv you need to take off the hubs, un snap the snap ring either using pliers or screwdrivers (screwdrivers takes talent!), unbolt the upper ball joint, and most likely the brake caliper so the hose doesn't get stretched. Inbetween that, im not sure. It's been a while since i've done cv's on a wd21. haha. my car50 was a lot easier.
  14. Stuck brake caliper/wheel cylinder front/rear..... Sunday i stole all of my stereo equipment out of it and put it in the sentra.
  15. I really really want LE wheels. But I'm sure shipping would kill the price you want for them.
  16. Make sure you have the plug wires ran to the right plugs/spots on the dizzy!
  17. I'll take those LE wheels off your hands.
  18. It's possible the hose was replaced and not stock equivalent maybe??
  19. The notch is indeed a spot for the fuel door. Bushwhacker got a little carried away with it. Saw a set in the junkyard one time lol. Was like wtf??
  20. This is true I guess... But my first assumption would be pathy haha
