I guess im just a little old fashioned when it comes to a LOT of silly computer electronics driving for me... i did just fine in my wd21's with none of it.

If 86.5 - 92 trucks didn't have them, they wouldn't be wired, right?
-
My rear brakes don't hardly do anything... The front just skids along... I adjusted the rear drums. Get more pedal. But they just don't engage and it causes the front to slide. Never really paid attention to it. But the thing stops horribly. Can I ditch the lsv as well??
-
I'd rather be the controller of my brakes over the car. I had no problems controlling my car before. No matter what I do, it starts pulsing and it won't stop. Bs. I hit a curb today because it wouldn't stop. And once it starts ratcheting, it won't stop... So I'm left sliding out into the intersection... Either that or the r50s braking sucks that bad. Either way I'll be pulling the fuse and seeing how I like it.

Is there anyway I can disable the sbs module?! I hate it...

I slightly remember my 92 having heated mirrors? Either way, only the power mirror type had heated mirrors. my r50 one's are much warmer/heat up faster.

What's really odd is it seems somedays, i can start it up and run it for a while and it doesn't do it, or does it hardly at all. or it's just me. But either way it's taunting me... -
But why did the fuse pop? That's a strange one...

No. It happens most noticeably when I'm accelerating and not using cruise. But it still does it when using cruise on the highway and the torque converter isn't locked. That's when I can really feel it is when the tc isn't locked. I've had the air box off a few times. Everything seems fine. Can't find any leaks, not even using spray. Nothing happens. -
I have a whine coming from my transfer case/rear end only when im going over 30 can i hear it, and it goes away (or i just can't hear it) when i let off the gas. Mines and auto. But your 5spd tranny could also be a bit worn out and have some noise. Wounld't surprise me.

Steering rack bushings and passenger side inner tie rod are getting replaced this next weekend. Clunk is still there.... THe list never ends.

Still having the fluctuating up and down ilde when accelerating. And the more i noticed it and think about it, the more it pisses me off. I plan to swap it to a 5spd shortly and with the way the engine dips when gaining speed, i could imagine what that will feel like when hooked directly to a 5spd. I have a tested good alternator sitting waiting to be installed. (mine's bearing are shot and causing a whine) but i'm not sure if that will fix it. Hopefully this next weekend. Timing could possibly not be set right? I'm not the best at figuring out the timing. At tax time ill end up just taking it to nissan for them to run diagnostics, if the alternator doesn't change anything. -
what is the fix for the heavy gas fume smell on r50s

Where to find low profile cross bars for the roof-rack
Kyle94 replied to stioc's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
My questions, How do you stop the bolt from turning to screw the basket down? And, What are they attached to on the basket? Unless i'm missing something. I'd like to make mine sit on the roof as well.. -
He didn't, he's went through like three different sets of rims along with tires. Lol. Andrew changes them like...

Oh im sure. Just gotta start saving... Sucky part. haha. I'm gonna go after the AC 2" front lift coils first, so i can be happy with it for a bout a year.... im planning around fall this next year ill be getting a car of some kind so i can save up for the SFD, or i have other plans as to how im going to save. haha.
-
the tire and strut move the same..... the part that would rub that is. Is it rubbing? Or are you just thinking it GOING to rub? because it wont. or rather shouldn't
-
So far the rear ac coils are installed and Steve's 1.5" strut spacers. Problem. The ac coils gave more lift than the front. Not sure how long it takes to settle but as it stand right now I need the ac front lift coils as well. It is still slightly odd stepping down to get out of the rig now though. Haha. Time to start saving for that sfd and 33-35's

It's something someone would want for a good price b... Is what I was getting at. But I'm sure that's why he still has it.
-
True, but a lot of people are detoured from the whole unit... lol. It'd be cool to save...

appears to have taken a pretty hard hit to the front, and he said something about the clutch shifting.....?
