  1. didn't mean to ruin any excitement, congrat's on your number of posts, in terms of how long you have been on here I am the NOOB
  2. I thought you had to have 100 posts and be on here for 1 year before you become a member??
  3. The "timesert" inserts look like a cool deal, just watched a few of their videos,
  4. Can someone check their truck to see which way the clear covers on the license plate lights sit please? I took my back bumper off to paint it and took the lights off to clean the lenses and not sure how they go back on, these have a small tab that says "DOT" on them so if you can tell me if that faces up or down. THANKS
  5. do you know the part number for the hubs you bought?
  6. what's a radio?? LOL here is mine: and I have no speakers either...yet
  7. I asked about this in another thread guess no one saw it, a pathfinder in the local junkyard, think it was an 87 or 88 had the I beam style TA's and one was broke, didn't know when they switched them to tubular.
  8. One time while four wheeling I split the lower control arm and was able to drive my 87 hardbody with the secondary adjuster on the 2 stage torsion bars holding the front end up slightly to friend #1's house, from his house to another friends house where I swapped the control arm I put a metal block between the bump stop and the UCA.
  9. On my 87 hardbody with the VG30I the key way spun twice, In 87 the crankshaft had one keyway that both the harmonic balancer and timing gear both shared, models after 87 they changed it to 2 keyways one for each part.
  10. According to the Nissan FAST program the color code for red is "A" or "R" here is the diagram for a 86 to 93: and the part numbers for the vents on the sides: by the way "B" is blue, "K" is grey
  11. I would prefer a manual in the pathfinder but for $500 I took what I got, my sentra is a manual and is loads of fun especially with the short throw shifter and all 90 HP !!!! LOL
  12. I really liked my automatic when wheeling back home in the deep soft sand but after having it rebuilt 3 times at $2000 a shot I would prefer a manual if given the choice. (meanwhile I just bought a PF with an automatic!!!)
  13. I know, you should have seen it before the paint !! LOL or It's not a show truck man!! take your pick, LOL
  14. it is a cone filter just enclosed in a case, the front is wide open, it also came with a part that clips on the end and a tube can attach to it that you can run further forward to cooler air if you would like. I only drove the truck one time after swapping the filter and it is actually louder than the open K&N cone filter, it doesn't seem restrictive at all.
  15. It *is* designed to reduce intake noise. Its likely intended to smooth out an intake resonance. Because the pathfinder's intake is relatively short, its there to reduce noise, or increase power or both. I thought that is what it was for, I know manufacturers usually put pipes like this in to help quiet the intake, the thing with this one upon inspecting it is that the pipe does not flow all the way from one end to the other. So what would be the point of it being the length it is when it is not open from one end to the other??
  16. he said the front differential
  17. thanks, it cost my wife about $100 a few x-mas's ago, the Spectre coupling is all the local auto parts store stocks, want to replace the accordion pipe next hopefully moving the filter out of the corner so I can use the fresh air intake pipe before the filter.
  18. A few new pics, just painted the bumper and trim with some Krylon semi flat black, polished the turn signals the other day:
  19. didn't you know, everything you read in advertising is true !!
  20. I knew of the one that sprayed on the intercooler and that is what I was going to post , until I saw the intake one.
