Hm my dells been running for 3 years, just memory upgrades, a few HDs and a new power supply and its still kicking. But I hear Macs are so easy to use and are really really reliable; might be my next pc.

I noticed this today, which may be why in drive at a stop my trans vibrates... My driveshaft looks like its coming out of the trans, and there is some lubricant leaking slowly from that area. Got any ideas?

Theres actually a metal one on there now that I bought - not the plastic type. Water is an issue, but I dont mud the truck or anything like that so its fine for me, like you said, not for everyone

This is more a FYI than a detailed DIY but it works, I have it on my wd21 and will take pictures when I get a chance. A 87-95 Maxima intake adapter (pictured below) will bolt up to the wd21 MAF perfectly. You'll just need to order the adapter and a 3" cone filter (I used an old K&N from my civic when it was boosted). They run about 20 bucks on ebay - search "95 maxima adapter". You will only need to supply some quality nuts and bolts for the install. Simply remove the stock airbox and plumbing to create space for the cone filter. Remove the box from the MAF and replace it with the adapter and bolts. Attach the cone filter. Place some sort of cushion ( I used weather stripping) on the bottom of the filter so it rests quietly in the engine bay. Done. BTW, its a little high pitched at idle but deep toned under load. I havent really noticed any improvements on the butt-dyno; mpg up around 1-1.5 by the fill tank and divide method...

Wow those things are huge! Why not just keep them and run your stockers while the BL goes on?

I personally wouldnt go if I had torn CVs. There will be so much sand in there you really wont make it far on the beach before everything siezes, and definately not home.

^ Agreed, the sand really finds a way to get into everything, inside, under, and in, especially around the brake and suspension areas. If you can, run on some more compact sand toward shore (if there is one) rather than near the dunes.

thats the damage that caused totaling the vehicle? what speed was the impact? ...and it doesnt look like much damage at all...

Mine is metallic green with dark green flakes in it; it used to be oem dark green but the guy who had it before repainted it due to the florida sun fading it all.

I thought about it, but I dont know if all the time would be worth the 345 bucks. I dont know who Lee is, but everything on L&P's website is registered to Phil Dawkins, so my despute lies with him and him alone. Lee seems to have made a good choice by not dealing with Phil anymore, so props to him. Im hoping to hear from paypal soon, but my claim was settled, and I guess they just try to recover the money if someone uses paypal to buy a product of his?? I rather sacrifice 345 bucks then have someone from this site go through this with him. We shall see I guess... Thanks for the support guys!

Understood, just pissed about losing my $345. I spent $345 today on new tires and I just watched that hard earned cash leave my hand; it made me think about the $345 I sent to L&P and never got anything in return. Ill post something up later on if paypal ever recovers a cent...

I used ProComp ES3000s and Rancho5000s on my Toyota 4x4, and they feel almost identical. I think the procomps are cheaper, so that'd be my choice.

Simon's got the 411. You need to read the entire thread before you post. Money has been transfered to his paypal and hes put it into his bank account. Paypal has found in my and others favor, but hasnt been able to recover money because he transfered it.

If I lived close to him, I'd go punch him square in the face for &^%*@$# people like he does. He's a piece of @!*% for taking peoples money, I dont care how nice he is.
