  1. Agreed, just take it to a pro and improve on it. Youll never get your $$$$$$$$$$$$ back.
  2. I have the 40 on a 2.25" cat back and I think it sounds great. Its isnt to loud, but has a nice rumble and a deep tone while crusing. I believe the 50 series is quieter than the 40, so it really depends on what your looking for.
  3. Phil is hanging in a closet somewhere...
  4. Phil strikes again! Sorry for your situation Red, I know how it feels, but at least you recieved a CL. Notice to all - do not deal with L&P.
  5. I didnt get to it yet, I put new rear shocks on and am now going up to the dunes... w00t
  6. If theres metal shavings in there, do you replace just the cap?
  7. Props for the gum wrapper story, JJ
  8. My distributor is making an almost metal to metal noise and has a slight vibration when I put my hand on it. Its not overly loud, but i have noticed that accerlating with constant gas pedal pressure, the truck lurks up through the rpm range - Do I just need a cap for it? My other cars have had direct ignition so Im kinda new to old school ignitions Since Im working on that, I may as well ATTEMPT to change the wires and plugs. I referenced the aftermarket part list in general forum, and where does a performance coil go? Should I get one? I may steer clear of an ignition box ( alittle to pricey for the pathy). TY fellas
  9. Bleed them. Next time after shutting off the truck, press and hold the brake pedal about 10 times before working on the brakes. this will save the need of bleeding them, and after replacing the pads, make the pedal feel much firmer.
  10. 4wheelparts.com has 4 es3000s and a steering stabilizer for about 140usd in the shocking deals section.
  11. L&p is well, crooks. If you want turbos, just fab up the exhaust manifold. the rest is pretty easy, but building the manifold that will hold that weight and be strong enough to wheel with is pretty hard.
  12. On the passenger side visor, theres instructions for removing and installing the sunroof but they must have been translated directly from Japanese because they make no sense. I noticed on the handle, theres two buttons that you can push to release the hinge, but how does the front come off? do i need to unscrew the phillips screws? I just noticed this at a stop light today and havent had the balls or time to mess with it. I could be a true redneck and no wheeling in the mud without a sunroof.... how cool
  13. Welcome. Eastiest and cheapest is the JGC springs (jeep grand cherokee) and torsion bar crank for 2" (need longer shocks too).
  14. works now.... oooooh i likey the windshield banner!
  15. Kinda makes me miss Upstate NY, but not much.
  16. Damn that sucks. Id get a second opinion first. You can install the trans cooler yourself if you want- It takes about 20 minutes.
  17. Mine does the same thing. I think its the exhaust mani when its cold, like casey said.
