so... i didn't get even an offer to keep my truck, but i just got home from looting some goods! I couldn't remember all that everyone had asked for but i did get the dimmer switch, hazard switch and defrost switch. i also got some other small things, can't remember what all else. If interested leave a comment and i'll let you know if i got it.

if my insurance company totals my car, i don't get to keep it do i? Because when i totaled my @!*%vic they would hardly even let me get my stuff out of it.

i don't have uninsured motorist coverage but i was not at fault in the accident so the lady is taking al the fault and my insurance company is suing her for the damage. I'm kind of hoping it is totaled because i only paid 2k for it and i should get back what it's worth probably around 3 to 4k! i guess my '95 didn't have airbags, so yeah! But i was also surprised at how little my pathy was damaged compared to her car! I called today about the police report and it still wasn't ready, so i'm going to go down there tomorrow and figure out what's going on with it.

Yeah i'm fine, i wasn't hurt at all... Had my air bags deployed i probably would have been banged up a little.

yeah it's been a rough week! I'm hoping they will total my car and give me around $5,000 back. i saw a 94 pathy in the paper listed with a lift, winch, air lockers, etc. for 4k

So i was on my way home from school and this lady pulls right out in front of me and practically stops in the middle of the road. I slam my breaks hard but get her right between the tires driving her passenger side in 18 inches. She wasn't wearing her seat belt and had supposedly serious injuries, but none visible that i could tell. They took her away on a stretcher and she also had no insurance. This was a week ago and the police have yet to complete an accident report so i'm stuck without a car, which sucks. Check out the pictures

ok, so i went to my local NAPA and got some replacement vacuum hoses. I took the others that were dried out and cracked and they handed me replacements at no charge. So i slipped them on and haven't had any problems so far. thanks again for all the help.

thanks, i noticed a few others around there that weren't as bad, but had small cracks in them like they had dried out and rotted or something. Hopefully i'll get to replacing those tomorrow or this weekend. Thanks guys.

yes that hose has been it looks like melted all the way through and isn't connected at all. But would that be what has been causing the EGR Function code?

ok, do i'm not exactly sure what the EGR valve is, or anything so I just went looking around and found a little rubber hose, melted in half it looks like. i'm guessing this is what may be causing my problems? thanks

ok, i finally got around to checking my codes, and the only one returned was 32, EGR Function. Not really sure what that means, but i've looked around and most people just say to check the hoses, but i'm not exactly sure what hoses to check and what to check for. Anyone else know what could be causing this?

i've been real busy lately and haven't had time to check my ecu. hopefully i'll be able to get out there and check it sometime today or tomorrow.

my check engine light periodically comes on for about 5 minutes then goes off. it happens maybe once or week or so and i was thinking about checking the ecu codes, but if the light doesn't stay on, will the ecu still hold the codes if something is wrong?
