Those wheels and tires look great on your black Pathy... Ive been looking at those 32" Dunlops but I want some sort of shiny rim...My truck is white...I dont think the black rims would look good. How much was the whoe setup? HEY WHEEL366- what year is your Pathy? You said you are installing a Calmini lift? I didnt know they made one for R50's? darn VENGEFUL....you Pathy looks sweet!!! :bow:

I dont know if those will fit but.....Have you checked out any of the lights at WalMart or Target? I found a few sets for under $50.

That's why you (CHROMOTECH) install some quick disconnects....easily disconnect them why off roading and reconnect them when you're done. HEy REIDO!....post some photos or how bout giving us all an explination of how you did the disconnects?

I did my lift (KYB Struts, 4 Springs, and Bilstein rear shock) it took about 12-14 hours non stop. If you live near an AutoZone Auto Parts you can rent strut spring compressors for $20 each per day. If you return them they give you 100% of your money back!!!! Not a bad deal. I would send you photos of my install, but my hard drive crashed before I could back up....so I lost like 3 months of photos!!! Struts alone will NOT lift the truck....but putting some taller springs on the existing struts will. I suggest replacing the struts when you do the lift....it will ride soooo much better with everything new. The only problem with taller springs on the front is that it will cause the front struts to be virtually maxed out. That means the front whells will have very little down travel (Towards the ground) before they max out. I have the Automotive Customizers 2" lift on my 97 (2 Struts, 4 coils, 2 shocks) running 31" BFG AT KO's with no problems....I have done a ton of research on the actual sizes of specific brands of 32's and 33's and the 32's seem to be the perfect size for a 96 and up pathy with a 2" lift. 33's seem to be a little too large to fit on the front....probably have some rubbing on the front outside edge of the fender well. Hope this helps...I would give photos, but I lost my hard drive last week and lost a ton of stuff. Keith

Ya.....I definetly want photos of the SuperSkid, not the regular one. Are you going to offer the skids without any coatings? Let the customer choose their own coating.

I have the AC 2" lift kit (Struts, Shocks and four coils) and I could easily fit a set of 32's. I have 31" BFG AT KO's right now, but I have this alignment problem I need to resolve before the new tread goes on.

The question to ask yourself is "Do I feel lucky".....oh....sorry.....How much do you drive on road? I am getting ready (saving$$$) to get myself a set of rock crawler rims and a some mud tires. I am keeping my BFG AT's on the stock rims for daily driving since my truck spends 80% of its life on the streets.

Thanks 88, I gave my thoughts on this subject in another post....I think it's time to trade down my 97 for an older one. I don't know what year I want yet, I will have to check for parts availability and pricing. That will dictate which year Pathy I want. Runnerman, I agree....I'm still not convinced my plate will hold up to constant abuse....I did jack the front of the truck up an inch off the floor using the plate only...(It was bending a lot though). I have some side pieces that will go up the sides of the truck where the front tow hooks bolt, just need to weld them on. These should give it some more strength.(I hope) I did my plate at home with no machines except a drill and a jig saw. I made my own metal brake, using my work bench and some 2x4's (What a pain). But I still want your SUPERSKID! I LOVE it!

Thanks for all the info everyone....I think I might start looking around for an older Pathy to buy. I love my 97, but off road parts are scarce and when found, they are extremely expensive. Wish me luck

How do you determine the type (Model Numbers) of a 97 rear axle.....And also, how do you know (without dissassembly) how many splines on your axle shafts? I am trying to find a locker for the rear of my 97 Pathy.

Does anyone know the model number of the Powertrax locker that will fit a 97? Powertrax doesn't list anything for any Nissan at all!!! I think a rear locker is my next upgrade.....As soon as I win the lottery!

How Much are you paying for steel?....I got a 4x4 sheet of 3/16" cold rolled for $.40 a pound at a local industrial metal supply. The whole sheet was $37.00.

$2.37 Highest in town and $2.21 the lowest..Here in San Diego County California.
