  1. I would check your bearings, struts, ball joints, swaybar links, etc... for looseness or wear.
  2. Did you also spray on some clearcoat over it? It helps it match so much. Maybe its just the pic but the lower part near the rocker doesn't seem to match as well. Other than that it looks great, I can't stand bodywork.
  3. I would look at the part-outs on here and maybe in the local wrecking yards, you'll probably find one for a good price that way.
  4. The oem radio in my new pathy is messed up like that, depending on the in cab temp or if you smack it it will come on and off and sound really wierd. Swapped in a new (from parts truck) radio and its working fine now. Could be the head unit is failing.
  5. Fixed that. Basically, square dash = cable, rounded dash = electric. And 87-93 were square, 94-95 (97 for a hardbody) are rounded.
  6. Yeah when I drove my pathy out west it REALLY didn't like being in the high elevation areas ( was there for almost a week) until the truck got used to it. It even spit up a CEL but I never bothered to check it.
  7. When you take the panels off you'll probably be able to see if anything is broken or out of place. If nothing looks broken or loose I would clean and lube all the moving parts. My rear door used to do that and after several generous dousing of PB blaster, wd40 or whatever, it was free again. I used fluid film to help keep it that way.
  8. Or you just don't be a moron and take the pulley off the proper way, you don't have to remove all 6 bolts. Just 2 for the puller if you use one and the big crank bolt. It is keyed to the crankshaft.
  9. To be honest I thought my BFG AT's were terrible in wet weather. I would lock up the tires frequently.
  10. Loosen the nut on the pulley a few turns but don't take it off, then you can turn the bolt head on the a/c idler bracket counter clockwise to lower the pulley aka release the belt tension.
  11. Loosen off the A/C belt and drop it down out of the way of the fan and see if that helps. Kinda sounds like that idler pulley is bad.
  12. Mine used to have that wavy acceleration as well. It was the o2 sensor. Unplug it and see if it doesn't do it. Someone else here told me it was the TPS and I changed it with no effect.
  13. Man do you ever do any research before posting. To the OP. I believe the fuse for the power mirrors also runs the rear wiper.
  14. I'd start with putting some &^%*ing gas in it.
  15. I already have a higher amp alty (from a maxima), and my ps pump works fine with the 33s. My main concern is the A/C as I'm kind of a fan of it lol. And it still works yet my truck is nearing 400k.
  16. Spray some tire shine on the black plastics to really make it shine (top of rad, fan shroud, dizzy cap cover, coil cover if you still have them etc..). And your truck will smell nice as well lol.
  17. Imagine how fast it would feel on the 29s. Don't spin the duratracs on dry pavement too much, they're a soft compound rubber and will wear fast!! Man I'm seriously considering this swap, as there are a few r50's in the jy, though my 3.0 is fine. I'm just not too keen on having to mod all those brackets I'm not the greatest fabricator (especially after my welder broke).
  18. Dude, when you get it back to Ottawa, can we get together so I can see this repair? I'd love to see what it looks like in person. Your pathy didn't seem too rusty to me when I saw it but then again it was getting dark
  19. Does the torque converter still unlock a lot (the small few hundred rpm downshift). Mine will if you're driving into a headwind or have 5 people in there on hills.
  20. Ask anyone here who's put gl-5 in a w/d21 tranny. Simon comes to mind.
  21. The 97 will run on regular gas just fine. You could also fix the 93's frame rust.
  22. I haven't cut any metal on mine but maybe my rim offset is different. Man whoever had that truck before you butchered it, glad you're going to fix it right. Could also take those things off the doors lol.
  23. Looks good. I have a few suggestions but they are just what I would do: -Move the rear bumper up to compensate for the body lift -Ditch that brush guard, it looks like its off a chev or something. -Do a 3" SL so you don't have to cut out so much metal
  24. 10 miles? Really, that is like 16km, which is not far at all. Hell I'd bike that distance if I had to.
