I *gently* slid the balancer on, threaded the bolt in by hand as far as I could, and then I torqued it to spec. Worked for me.

Put my new neutral safety switch/range sensor in. Now I have reverse lights/cruise control/overdrive and the ability to start the truck the normal way. Also got it emission tested, passed with flying colours. Tomorrow I'll put the center console back in and start on the rear brakes, weather permitting.

That really pisses me off when people cut the harness and don't use an adapter, especially for the antenna. The kit with both is like 15 bucks at best buy!!!

I will be purchasing a set in the near future as well. My new to me pathy has a solid frame but you never know when the day might come that I need them.

Have you checked the fuses under the hood? I recall seeing headlight fuses there.

You can run it long enough to start it, walk to the front of the truck, listen for any changes, then shut it off.

Dowser, it was a king cab, so I guess its useless.

Best lift "on a budget" is the JGC springs and a t bar crank.

Metric bolts equivalent to grade 8 is grade 10.9. Grade 8.8 metric bolts are like grade 5 standard bolts.

I'm pretty sure ours have a sleeve but its just so stuck to the shock mount on the truck it just looks like part of the truck now lol. I just slid them on with no new sleeves and they have been fine.

Tungsten you've never built an engine or done anything to the truck yourself so leave your opinion at the door. My1path has talked with mr510 in person, and he has modded his motor so he speaks from experience.

I really don't care that it is unibody... Its the front wheel drive platform and non signature rear door handles that ruins it.

There are 2 r50s (both vg33) in the kenny u pull junkyard on bentley (off merivale). They were complete when I was there last week. I also know someone that works at the oil changers who won't do the 40kmh test if its a 4x4, if it passes the idle test this may work for you. Also have you checked your timing? If you have to part it out the place I'm storing my parts truck at (soon to be gone) is cheap.

I'm saying screw the seafoam stuff because if it happened after the tranny swap, it was something you may have knocked loose, not that it just happened it needed seafoam.

There is a 2wd hardbody in the jy here, but it is an 86 with the square dash.

Screw the seafoam stuff, it has to be something you messed with during the tranny swap. Did you check to make sure the throttle cable isn't snagged or anything is rubbing on it. Check the pedal and the cruise one. Also check all your vacuum hoses. Actually, just replace them. It will cost you like 3 dollars in hose.

Sounds like the starter is getting weak.

The speedo sensor is in the transfer case, which takes ATF. If it is dark brown I would change it.

My nissan belt came with a nice metal sticker and it said to put it on the air box...So I did.

You need to tighten @!*% better and it won't happen again.

I got nearly 90,000kms out of my raybestos service grade pads from rock auto. They still had 1/8" left on them when I changed them. Very good pad and the price was great.
