  1. I'm planning on running a Dakota Digital fan controller which I already have. Going to report back on how that works out soon. http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=641/prd641.htm
  2. As far as I can remember when I had the stock deck it did not have a removable face. Looks like the only solution is to just get a better deck.
  3. Those seats look great even with the slightly mismatched coloring but that horn is a failure...
  4. First of all, very nice work. It's interesting my 2WD center link actually did come with the bracket to mount the damper but I cut it off in favor of using an aftermarket Bilstein damper.
  5. Just saw your thread here: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=33061 Looks like it turned out great. Mine will be even more heavy duty though! Anyway there was a bit of a delay due to some boring circumstances. I should have everything together on May 1st or this Tuesday.
  6. The platinum line Pathfinder is much better than the QX4. I know from first hand experience. The only good thing about the QX4 is the factory HID lights.
  7. Spend your money on building either a 2.25" or a 2.50" single exhaust system instead. The size depends on the design of the headers. I would recommend a 2.50" sized pipe for the n/a 3.3
  8. awesome i'm glad that worked out
  9. Old thread is old but do Calmini steering systems still interfere with the front sway bar?
  10. metal ones would be awesome as long as they don't rust to the stem
  11. If you want long travel with 4WD the cheapest route is to just use a front solid axle. Independent long travel axles can get really complex with those angles.
  12. currently in the shop for alignment and 2 inch suspension crank will probably get it back next week and show it off
  13. there isn't much you can do with an r51 anyway unless you go to hardcore custom fab and pathfinder aftermarket is really lacking
  14. i'm just waiting for nunya to show up for this one i try to avoid objects in eyes by wearing safety glasses but q-tips work great in those sticky situations
  15. carbs suck EFI is way better but is more of a pain to set up to work properly and is less reliable overall
  16. i have one of those in my glove box they're actually not that great because the plastic can flex and the tool is useless nothing beats a real valve core remover
  17. Haven't done anything with it yet. Going to be installing all this in a few hours... In other news, finally got my lines and decided to add a filter on the return line. BEFORE AFTER Here it is up close
  18. I know I'm a bit late to the show but if you are getting mileage and performance problems the best place to start is just by doing a TUNE-UP and checking the timing. The second thing you want to check for sensor function like oxygen sensors, mas air flow sensor, tps, coolant, etc... The third is leaks in vacuum lines (or fuel lines) and/or gaskets and a stuck open thermostat. After the engine is back to factory means of operation, you can go ahead and proceed with mods like a new exhaust system and intake filter. That's all there is to it! FYI none of those so called gimmicky "fuel saver" mods actually work. No idea about plenum spacers I heard mixed things about them.
  19. I definitely like the ECU idea with the higher flow rate injectors. The M30 ECU with ethanol resistant next generation 270cc injectors is going to be awesome for those of us running mods and/or VG33E/VG34E swaps. I can't wait to see how this goes for you. Good luck with the tuning.
  20. It cost me $70 to do both sleeves, get 2 of those big nuts, and to correct the idler arm brace holes. I don't think it will be more than $50 to just bore the sleeves. BTW my 2wd tie rods are the "problem solver" type from MOOG which should be more heavy duty than OEM.
  21. The trick is you mount the center link upside down. There is no interference anywhere. It mounts exactly like the 4WD one.
  22. I don't trust e-bay with anything. Even something as simple as an air-filter can be seriously flawed. You get for what you pay for.
