  1. I tried it, and it said that this feature is disabled. Any one else?
  2. I'm scared for the people who answer "I Don't know"
  3. OK, I give 88, what the heck is IIRC? I've hear of PSIA, PSIG and one more I can't remember, but never that one. And I'm a friggin engineer. Well not yet, but in a year I will be officialy.
  4. ? Seriously though, not sure, haven't done that one yet.
  5. Ok, not an auto, but here's a weird one for ya'll. Stock, she came with 31's, it says so on the door jamb. Ok. My speedo says I'm doin about 77 at 3100. I was playin with my handheld GPS on a roadtrip and my actual speed was about 72. I thought it might be off a bit, but when I passed one of those "caution corner, your speed....." signs it was about 5 mph lower as well. I have a bad habit of seein how high I can peg those darn things. heh. SO the way I figure, if I toss on 33's I'll be right on. Weird huh?
  6. Not sure of the specs, but I might have one out in a few months. I thinkin of pullin my LSD (hehe I chuckle every time I see that) and puttin an open diff in with a locker.
  7. Tell them to pull their heads out. You seriously have to playing hard, and I mean hard to tweek a frame. Unless it's been in an accident, they are full of it. Ask Precise what a place wants to even check the frame for alignment. I'm sure he'll chime in on the quote they gave him. Just make sure you are sittin down when you read it.
  8. Yeah, drink up!!!!!! w00t, Happy Birthday
  9. I have mine off as well. I drove the 5 all the way from Vallejo to Seattle and didn't notice any real difference. I'm runnin about 2.5" lift with 31's and rancho 9k's. I've heard it's recomended to do the opposite, but with the lift it was at too much of an angle and smashin the bushings to waste. I tried puttin in longer drop links, but then tthe bar hit my tie rods, and didn't want to bend those, so off it came.
  10. Npe, haven't heard of it either. More info please.
  11. Not sure if the configuration on the front is the same as on a '91 cause the interior is all they changed really. On mine, you have to take the door panel off to get to the speaker. To do that, pop the screw in the arm rest to remove the handle part, then the three screws (maybe 2?). If you have power windows, just pop the switch console from the back end and disco it. There is a clip around the door handle remove that, unscrew the lock nob, and start pullin her off. The panel will pop out, then have to slide up. As far as the rear goes, mine just pops off, but I have the pods in the cargo area instead of overhead of the rear seats. Good luck. M.M.
  12. LOL when I hear Escudo, I think of that badass car from GT 2 & 3, the pike's peak version. If you had that car you could beat the pants off of anybody, no matter how good or bad of a driver you were.
  13. Ahhhhhh I see. I went the wrong way with that one, but the idea behind it stays the same. Balancing.
  14. I always use NAPA gold's. I bought a Wix once, and found out it's the same filter as the NAPA one's so no worries.
  15. Just to let you know I found mine at Bolt-Depot online. I needed em in a hurry so I had to get em overnighted. $37 bucks just in shipping, but the price was somwewhat reasonable. I'll find the link. brb.
  16. I believe he is refering to the slant 6 configuration of the engine. It really has to do with not only space, but how the motor is designed. It is balanced to fire in a certain order, but those forces must be counterbalanced to transmit the up/down force of the piston into rotational force. It's really just another design that someone came up with, which they found that worked in that particular model of vehicle.

Han, he could just delete this post and be done with it. I wonder if it is working yet.
  18. Just rolled 218k+ on the way up to Seattle from the Bay. w00t
  19. Upper control are bolts are 14M X 1.5 This is considered a fine thread for that size bolt as coarse is 2.0. You want a grade 10 in there, but an 8 will work, but nothing lower than an 8. Stock length is 50mm, I just put 65mm's in there to account for the extra shims needed to get my beast aligned right. To summerize 14M X 1.5 X >50mm is what you need. Grade 8 or > To get the old bugger out, use a propane torch. Alot of times, alignment shops will hit those with thread locker to keep em from backin out. PB and heat, then followed by rapping it with a hammer usual frees those up. Good luck. M.M.

  23. If it's gonna cost $200 for parts plus labor, you might look into upgrading your exhaust. It might cost you a few more bucks for headers and labor, but in the long run, you'll be happier. Sorry, I have this mentality that if I'm gonna replace something, I might as well upgrade it while I'm there. It serves me pretty well, and I am enjoying the new mods so far. M.M.
