I have see the fan put on backwards.... It should be sucking not pushing... As Simon pointed out the good stuff.... Could also be that the T-Stat was not put in with the bleeder in the 12 Oclock position(Dave)

Use the valve covers and lower intake from the motor you took out of your rig......

As for putting it all back together... Just take your time, check and double check... Once you light up that new engine it will be time...

Knock or Tap??? A beer says you have a missing Exhaust Manifold Nut or Stud..... Normal for missing the nut or having a broken stud or 3... Lift the hood when its cold its usually the Passenger side, back 3 studs....

I stuck a screw driver in the flywheel teeth... If you want PM me and I call and talk you through it....

Did that... there is more noise around the Dizzy than any of the cylinders....

I have been driving it for over a year.... When I do the rear main again, Ill tinker around with the motor while its out. Only other thing we can figure that is making the noise is something in the Distributor.... only moving part in that area that I did not change out....

Opps, Results were... Its not the lifters knocking.... I still have the knock/tap... I have just learned to live with it for the time being.... Im like 99.9% sure the results ended up in the PoHo thread....

Great news on everyone being ok... Looks like a TBone while pushing the passenger rear into something else...

If thats the #1 on the R50 dizzy then what i was thinking does not apply..... Thats #3 on WD21... If all the marks match up, correct teeth count, tension set correctly... I would start re-assembling...

Try having 4 Pathfinders and a 300ZX.... oops almost forgot the Wife, 4 kids, a son-in-law(hes yours free), and the grandson....

Dammit.... Did you check the ECU Codes? Maybe I did have to much Pepper....

33x9.5 on 15x8 4"BS only rubs when seriously flexing....

We still need the question answered... With all 3 of the gear marks where they are supposed to be, is the dizzy pointing at #1 or #3 on the cap? The No Spark, we will need more assistance on that. If the dizzy is pointing at #3 and not #1 it could be as simple as the Crank angle sensor not allowing it to light up.... im not sure....
