  1. Possible loose/bad connection coming off of the +Pos terminal... Olivers Starter took about 40min total time, including up to Shucks to have the old one tested, then re-installing the new one.... someone had already buggered up his oil sending unit... We will have to re-wire that at a later date....
  2. I told you to go in and have the autozone guys test it....
  3. I have mentioned several times..... Rotate the Starter so the Solenoid is in the 12:00 position then slide it forward, then rotate it back to about 10:00 and it slides right out.... Install is just the reverse:) BTW..... it is a PITA
  4. I would agree with this... My 95 has that stud missing as well... The original Head from the 91 had a helicoil... If I ever get around to rebuilding those heads I will utilize the other 2 holes... Have someone fab up a "C" Bracket or something ...
  5. Your going to want to do a Search for JGC Coils and Re-Indexing Torsion bars.... Cheapest lift you can get.. btw to the board you may also want to fill in some of your personal info so we have an idea on who we are chatting with
  6. Way Cool.... I did make it through the ride home in 101F.... Slipping a SC in under the hood in place of the AC would be a most excellent option....
  7. Oliver might be moving, but his Pathy will be staying here.... I mean we or should I say "I" changed the timing belt, technically that makes it MY Pathfinder... doesnt that make 5 for me????
  8. I bought a little pipe wrench just for the egr tube... paid $3 for it and I use the Spark Plug tool for extra leaverage
  9. Now your gonna make me really go shopping...... Looks Great
  10. Drinking and Driving is against the law.... Only beverages that are 100% re-seal able are allowed for consumption in all of my Pathfinders....
  11. Maybe not, but we do have a FRAME!!!!! :tonguefinger:
  12. You have that cranked all the way up.... At the max height you will stress the CV's... Lower that font end about 1"....
  13. I have done it on 4 Pathfinders.... 2 just this past weekend.... Make sure if you break the screwdriver, you retrieve the broken pieces...
  14. Crank bolt removal.... pop the starter out(2 14mm bolts) slide it forward about 3" and jam a flat bladed screw driver in the flywheel teeth.... slowly turning the bolt the screw driver will lock the wheel inplace for breaking the torque.... Re-Torquing the bolt is the reverse.... Easier if you have 2 people, but you can do it by yourself if needed....
  15. Did you redo the Valves??? Sounds like you have all the alignment marks where they are supposed to be.... Loosen the bolt on the dizzy and spin it all they way clock wise... try and start it, if it wont light, spin it counter clockwise.... When I put my 91 back together, I was off on the dizzy install by about 3 teeth... I had to pull plug #1, bring it all the way to the top, then pull up the Dizzy and adjust it manually, 1 tooth at a time......
  16. Is the ECU providing you with any codes?
  17. Slick also has a pic of what the bottom timing cover bolt looks like, when you have installed the wrong one and run the engine...
  18. Spolar you still in Pullman??? I might have to come down and visit..... Take some Notes....
  19. Ummmm, yes they do make them for the 2 doors... Summit.... Had to find the linky....
  20. WD21 Solves all your problems... hehehe Go for the 3.5....
  21. Now you got me thinking if I removed my dizzy when I swapped out lifters on the drivers side.....
  22. If I recall correctly... remove just the 14mm tie down bolt... mark your #1 position, and you have to apply a little upward force on on it... be careful as you move it up, the rotor will turn and you have to mark where is starts to spin freely... that way you can get it re-set when you re-install it.... If you dont, you get to play musical teeth with the dizzy and a timing light until you get it right....
  23. Ratchet.... and have the belt ready to slip on as you get it back to the Alignment marks...... Been there... twice...
  24. After you get done buying stock in this stuff... I got a Bridge in SF Ill sell you....
