SteeevO replied to Balmer's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
Late 80's meaning late 80's - early 90's. I'm pretty sure all the late 80's Grand Wagoneer D44's are the same width -
Would Thorley hedders remedy the known.....
SteeevO replied to Xmas's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I personally like the studs because they have the ability to use more threads in the head. they really don't go in very far so i like to use as many of the threads as i can. I've been running thorleys for a few years now and i haven't had a broken stud since. -

i'd say you're pushing the limits too. if you wheel as hard as you say and you had crawler gears... i'm pretty sure you'd see a broken shaft before long -

I'd Say at least 37's on 31-spline H233B shafts I know Toyota guys that use chromoly axle shafts that are 1.31" in diameter and are running 40's and 42's with dual t-cases. The 33-spline H233b axle shafts are also 1.31" The 31-spline H233b shafts are 1.26" -

I have great news regarding Nissan lock-right lockers going out in tomorrows e-mail newsletter. Sign up for the newsletter here: http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/newsletter.php $300 is a really good price. I also offer the Lock Rights Lock Right 31-spline H233B

These will fit http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/trailgear-6x...ide-p-3665.html keep in mind that these are actually toyota spacers so the lugs on the spacers are a different thread than the nissan ones.

Keep in mind that on linked suspension systems your drag link and track bar need to pivot on the same plane to eliminate bump steer which can be related to your death wobble issue. Therefore, when you put in a drop pitman arm, you must also drop the track bar on the frame side. i know Rubicon Express makes them. Also check your caster, with that much lift it's probably a bit out of whack, but it can be fixed with adjustable links. if you don't have adjustable links, then try just taking the 2" spacers out to see if it goes away to find your problem.

I'll be listing the 33-spline R50 shafts very soon. And yes these will fit with disk brakes if you use the retainers from drum axles. we have been doing some investigating here: http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/forum/index.php?topic=962.0 -
i'm guessing the front DS isn't there.
