  1. I run 12 PSI on the rocks / dirt trails & 10 PSI in fresh snow. I run them on the street at ~25PSI When i was little, my dad used to get 60K+ out of a set of BFG All Terrain tires. but you need to balance and rotate every 3k and be very conscious of your street tire pressure.
  2. We've got a week 'n a half till we hit the trails! Who else is going!?!
  3. if you call Performance Accessories, they will be able to sell you one by itself as well. If they won't do it direct, give me a call. I'll get you squared away.
  4. Now you guys are talk'n radio... [steps up to soap box] So which do i prefer ham or CB?... well... BOTH! I honestly only have CB because a ton of 4-wheelers have cb. However, there has been a shift and ham radio is getting more and more popular. I've been a ham radio operator for 11 years and I simply couldn't explain all the advantages to having this on the trail in one post but here are a few keys points. Generally when you find a ham radio on the trail it's a radio in the 144 - 148mhz range (2Meter band) which works much better in canyons and on the trail than the CB band in the 27mhz range. not only that but to keeping things legal, radio on CB frequencies is limited to 4 watts. With ham radio legally you can go to 1500 watts <[No thats not a typo] So on the propagation differences with the different frequency ranges and power output differences alone... ham radio is a clear winner. if you're ever on a trail like the rubicon or some other mountainous area and need to call for help with nothing but a CB, you're going to have a heck of a time getting some assistance. Also with ham radio there are repeaters on mountain tops all over the world, these function as a wireless amplifier from high elevation. As you can probably figure, higher elevation equals more range... and guess what?!? there are even repeaters on board orbiting satellites that are free to use by ham radio operators.. hows that for elevations?!? Any CB will work nearly as well as any CB can on 4 watts as long as you run a good coax cable and have a properly tuned antenna. but in either case quality coax and a tuned antennas are very important, and in my opinion more important than the radio itself. [steps down from soap box]
  5. I'm getting ready to pull the one from my truck, But don't know what it'd cost to send it freight to PR... $$$
  6. nice! How many trucks would we be talking about?
  7. x2. on the 3.0 there is a small rubber hose that connects to the fuel rails that is known for leaking. Usually there are hose clamps on there. Just snug em up a bit. It's probably the same on the 3.3
  8. It all depends on what YOU want to do with your truck. a lift and 33's will definitely help on the trail but if you're looking to do some rock crawling, you're going to eventually do a solid axle swap. If you think thats the direction you're going then if i were you i'd hold out on the 3" lift and pinch pennies for a while to save for a SAS. but putting a rear locker in wouldn't be a bad idea being that it's something that will stay in place even after a SAS.

so the diamond won't be making it under the rig before gone... however there should be a few rigs including mine running the new 4-link kit.

  18. no unfortunately not. Original motor needed a top end rebuild after screaming home from utah on crappy gas. it had 336K on it then. The motor i have in there now was swapped in 3 days before King of the Hammers 2009. it has about 250k on it I'll be pulling it out for a 3.3, hopefully after winter.
  19. There will probably a group of us caravaning out there from so. Cal in case anyone is interested.
