Johnny Joints are WIDELY used in the off road afermarket and are very reliable. personally am using 12 of them on my truck. they have been there for over 2 years, I drive my truck on the street and of course off road. I'm honeslty really bad bad about keeping mine greased and i haven't had any problems with them. Johnny Joints are the original rebuildable polyurethane bushed johnny joint. If for one reason or another they start to develop play in them, they are rebuildable. We were originally going to powder coat them but figured that no matter what you coat it with, once you bang them on rocks, the coating will scrape off. by simply rattle canning them, you have an easy way to keep them coated and rust free.

I actually found them. they are 5.42's. I'm trying to keep the cost down on them which is why they aren't here yet. The original quote that i got was a bit high but i'm doing everything i can to get them here at a reasonable price.

This project lives on! Steel should be in by Wednesday or so and the complete HD Links will be done within the next 2 Weeks or so. Those that are interested, please post the model of your truck so i can start to get a feel for the ratio of WD21 and R50 links that will be need to be made.

I found out that 5.43's already exist. I'm just trying to find who makes them and who's selling them. The guys in iceland are running them. I've been searching high n low... i'll figure it out.

I've done it a few times. It'll definitely be nice to have a helping hand. just stay organized and you can have it done in a few short days. There is really no trick to it... just put it all back the same way it came out

yeah i knew what you were talking about. i'm thinking there is a reason behind it though. I could be wrong. i guess just defending them for some reason or just having high hopes. hopefully we can get this adapter to be a reality as well.

I'm sure that stub was designed like that for a reason. Also i'm glad that they are willing to do this. i was on the phone with NWF recently talking about doing this very thing. and i'm with barry on the tx-10 shifters.. i like the way they work. I'd be willing to help move these here in the states as well. good work and keep us updated.

Yes This is correct. it may also be a 4.6++ To double check you can take a look at the plate riveted to the inner fender on the passenger side near the firewall. look for a HG43 or a HG46 printed on the plate.

who are you talking to when you call? I've sold numerous of these and haven't had one come back. Also FYI Calmini has been pretty backed up lately.

ok thanks for the input, It seems that everyone that wants a set won't be able to afford them for another few months... hopefully we can get this going later this year or early next year
