My truck was the 12xx one built...so 26.5 yrs old....i have had it for about 14 years it had 275 k miles when i dropped a piece of debris thru a spark plug hole and cranked it up...it started knocking so i replaced it with 2 bad engines i should also mention that i broke a timing belt and ate 3 valves at 210k or something like that and finally swapped over the 95 engine that has something like 160k on it...would still have the original if i didnt freak out and pull it and replace it...keep the tb changed and maintenance up and it will run damn near forever -
Not that im aware of

Thanks all

Yep...been down that road...also had one loose a spring about 1000 miles into its life so it prob got.knocked off before or during installation...that sucked...I have a FMS in my near future...the ole ladies truck is marking its territory all over town

I know for the 95 it is in the trans....don't know if that vss communicates to the ecu or not....couldn't hurt to try you will find out after 5 mins when it gets out of the closed loop goes to the open loop
-
My 87 did not...or at least I wasn't aware of how to get the signal to the cluster/ecu
-
Just for others reference...the vents will all be the same...and ac controls...you will need the under structure...pull the clusters of both... Put them side by side...they're not that different... you can probably make the face plates and electronics mount in the old 95 cluster in the 93...I had the 87 stuff mounted in a 95 until I realized I had to.have the electrical speedofor the ecu

Even with 0 fluid that far this wouldn't be a huge issue...prob a separate issue -

If u r willing to pay..I'm sure steevo would get u setup with a front h233b -
Typically if the light doesn't come on its under pressure...check all connections...ESP at the firewall...mine would stay charged all summer till the temps cooled...never found the leak until I pulled the AC and found those lines loose

The d21 will also have leafs in the rear and no buckets for the 5 link in the wd21 iirc -
I know a lokrite in a Chevy rear end is noisy

Napa batteries should come from us batteries...those r pretty good batteries...I know from data I've seen they r better than the Trojans and most agm batteries but these were in 48 and 72v ev setups...I just use whatever is cheap at the parts store and typically don't have issues for the 3 year life cycle

Id guess relief cuts in the pistons...iirc the interference is only like .040- .060
