  7. I really doubt he's just going to let it fall out and onto the ground below Without repeating exactly what was already said, they are obviously heavy and although I was able to do it by myself, an extra person would have been helpful. I took it out much the same way as stated above (without dropping the front diff.) Just be prepared to drop the front and/or raise and tilt the engine if you cannot get things aligned properly.
  8. 33x12.5 15's on 10's with 3+3 in this pic I know it's not the exact width you were looking for, but might help you envision what your looking at Drove fine on the road, a "little" limited in turns due to the rear of the fender wells. Wheel it as is? I would not recommended it, but runable on the street until proper trimming could be done.
  9. To install a "hoohaa CL" Which is a modified CenterLink which is stronger than the stock unmodified one. "hoohaa" refers to the member here wo modifies and sells them at www.grassroots4x4.com

  11. This means that it was a problem before you changed the multi switch out? If not, then try the old one again. If they work wth the old one, then the new one is bad as well. Check to make sure the contacts on the new switch and the wiring harness in teh column are clean and in good condition.
  12. Truck: 388,xxx Motor: 229,xxx Motor was replaced @ 291k only because the crankshaft keyways rounded out when the keys sheared in half. The engine ran just as good or better than the lower mileage replacement EDIT: Look at my sig for current numbers
  13. RH Camshaft (busted), Dizzy (appeared bad do too following item),ECU (bad), Engine replacement (do to rounded keyways in crankshaft), Starter (due to playing in the water after a trail run), Transmission... other stuff I don't recall right now.

  18. Yeah disconnect and hang the drive shaft, make sure you tie it forward (did this once myself) to prevent it from falling out. As Cuong said above, you don't want it fall out. *imagines the pathy being pole-vaulted over the tow rig*
  19. Yeah put one in my 88. Not to bad... although i still have to wire in a clutch bypass relay.
  20. To add to what Precise1 said, we have done some of them. We've even taken new pics to replace old missing ones, but some of those pics are long gone and are no longer around to rehost elsewhere In those cases we nee to come up with new pics to insert in posts where the originals have been deleted. However, some of the pics are not so easily duplicated. When you see one missing, let us know (but please do not flood us with pic requests.. like B said, we only have so much time on our hands )
