  1. Ok, I guess I can post, but not preview first....Go figure!
  2. Computers suck A$$ Until I get this figured out, no pic's for you all! :furious:
  3. Does it look like the ignition was tamppered with? Could've had a screwdrivewr jammed in it and messed up the tumblers. Does the key fit in it. I should've asked that first. Good luck bud!
  4. :sniff: :sniff: I hope there are others out there that can feel my pain? I was driving to work yesturday and my Pathy began pulling to the right REALLY BAD! I pulled into the next parking lot and got out to take a look. What do you know, the passenger's front shock was busted in half. So, I decided to turn around and head right back to the house. Getting off the busy street onto the side streets. Turn the corner and the nose of the Pathy drops!  What in the H3LL? I pull it into the nearest driveway and stop. The front passengers tire is now under the Pathy. :furious:  The bolts holdingthe UCA popped completely. Never saw that before! So, I just got done taking pic's, so I'll be posting later. Couldn't of happen at a worse time and a worse place. Lifted JEEPS all around. I do have to say, I was getting quite a bit of compliments on the Pathy. Some guys were talking about switching over to a Pathy. I hope I haven't changed thier minds. Should be getting it towed Mon. and getting it fixed. Hope it doesn't cost too much $$$$$$$. I'll keep you all posted!

    Hood vents

For $130 bucks, the Z vents aren't too bad of an idea. Looks pretty good. More of a factory look.

    Hood vents

Didn't Mr. Jim put those hood scoops on his Pathy? I was thinking about putting those on for ventilation also. Some how cut and place some type of screen/mesh in the inside of the scoops so the heat can escape. Another thing you could do is have a body shop shape and weld a cowl hood scoop for ya. Post pic's once you figure out what you are going and have had done.
  7. Sorry Trail, I just need to read better. I recall seeing a clear body for the 1:9 scale RC at a hobby shop hear in Des Moines, IA for $105.00. Yes, for a Darn Pathy molded out of plastic. A boy can dream can't he? sly
  8. Hey Trailchaser, Where did you find that? I need that! Once I'm done with it, I'll have a Stomper that looks like mine. I painted it metalic hunter green. FYI for those that don't know what a Stomper is....it's a battery operated little toy. Once I'm done, I'll post some pic's. I did up a little CJ for my son. I collected 1:18 scale exotic and muscle cars for many years. Had over 60 vehicles. Need to get rid of some. Still looking for a Pathy. Yes, Kyosho does have one. I've seen it in a Nissan dealership in Chicago. At the time I didn't have enough $$$, so I didn't get it. I've modified some models in the past and thinking about it again. Good luck on the search.
  9. I was off-roading and had some branches poke through the skid holes and puncture my tank. I took the skid off and patched them with JB Weld. Gotta Love that Shizit. Still have a slite smell/leak, but not worring about it for now. Thinking about replacing the tank with a fuel cell. Need a new fuel pump anyways, so might as well hit everything all at once. -alcohol-
  10. Hey Extreme, Does the A$$ end of the Pathy already have the mounts for the factory tire carrier? If so, I could rip one off a Pathy in the local salvage yard. Last time I knew it was still there. Just a  .

    Tires

Hey Luker, I was thinking about going with 16" also, but wasn't too sure on how the whole wheel size and spacing would be. Is there alot of people converting over to 16's from 15's? The reason I ask......I might have a great deal on some tires. A guy I just meant has brand new General Grawlers? I believe they are 165/175X75X16's. Got them off a guy for $150 down until he found out that they weren't going to fit on his van. So, I'm going to try to get them for what he has into them. The only bad thing now is I'll have to buy some rims also. What would those convert over to for metric size? I'm currentlly running 31's, but wanting to jump up too 33's to 35's. I figured if they don't work, I could sell them for a few bucks more and take the cash and put them toward other tires. Thanks for your info!
  12. Once again, Thanks for all the insight! If they really aren't needed, then the money is going else where. Not too sure if I've done the right thing, but to avoid the creaking and clanking on a full turn either way, I've removed my wheel stops. I've cranked the wheel all the way to both sides and got out and checked the clearance of the tires and no rub and no problems as of yet. I've been running this way for about a year now. Still have them if I need to put them back on, but not planning on it right now. Call me , but oh well!

    Tires

Thanks for all the feed back everyone! Unfourtunately, around here, there are not many places for off-roading. Mainly street ware. That's why I was going to go with the Growlers. As for the wideth, that was on another post of mine.....Wheel spacers. That's what the JEEP did in the magazine to prevent inner rub. I'm like Luker in a way.....Boggers would be a hell of alot cheaper.
  14. What sucks about the whole tire size thing is........most of the 33's ask for 10" rims. What's the widest and tallest tire you can put on stock leggo's? I'm still wanting to get the black crawlers though. Could I squeeze 33's on a smaller rim?

    Tires

Thanks Slick! Yeah, they are new on the market. I saw a HUGE ad for them in 4X4 Builder magazine. July issue on page 89. If I can figure how to download some pic's of them, I'll post some. If interested, you can go to Pitbulltires.com.
  16. :type: I've searched and nothing! :help: Has anyone used or know much about wheel spacer kits? Good/affordable brands? Thinking it might help avoid the inner rubbing of the wider tires. Just a thought! Thanks for all your input!

    Tires

Hello All! It's been too darn long since I've been on here. :sniff: So, have any of you seen a Pathy with the Pitbull Tires on? I'm now thinking about getting some of the Growler All Terrain Extras. Lookin' pretty sweet!
  18. You guys kill me! I used JB Weld to plug up two pin holes on my gas tank. That's all I have for now!
  19. Last time I was on a trip, I got 17 miles per gallon. I thought that was pretty darn good, but seeing some of the others, I need to get things checked once I get the headers and BL on. Also, if you are oversized in tires, make sure the speedo is right, or that you are adjusting your figures accordingly for the difference. Speaking of this piece, is it possible to recalibrate your own speedometer?
  20. Yeah, I would just take the whole bar off and throw it in the back.
  21. So Zach, please tell us how you really feel about messing with gas! Just kidding man!
  22. Beautiful TMS! Where are you located at? If not too far, I'd be willing to travel for the pick up or maybe we could work somethign out on meeting half way. Could I get your email so we could talk figures? Thanks! Travis 94 Pathy
