  1. YEah, I just got putting some on also, along with the steering stabilizer bushings also.....PITA!!
  2. Great work Precise1!!!! What's the price on that? If not too bad, I would love to have one and if you could check out the shipping cost for me....Des Moines, Iowa 50322. Thanks for your hard work and effort for everyone!
  3. Well, it depends on how much money you want to spend. Myself, like a few others here lately, purchased a Coleman Safari Cargo Basket from Target. I got mine on clearance finally for $49.98. I decided to go back and get the rest of them so if someone wanted one for cheap, but they were gone. Glad I grab mine while I did. I had it one the same night and last night I just got done mounting the Hi-lift jack mounts and mounted my jack. I'll get some pic's taken of it and get some posted. I'm also  thinking about taking the wheel mount off the back of the swingbar and mounting it up in the basket for the spare. Then the dual gas tank mounts will be mounted on the back ofthe Pathy. After I get the headers and dual exhaust put on, the custom bumpers and rock sliders are coming. Once things are done, pic's will be posted. Good luck on the basket!
  4. Sorry to ask this question, but can 33x12.5x15 fit on the original lego wheels? I'm thinking about ordering some for this Winter or next Spring. Thanks everyone!
  5. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- ALRIGHT EVERYONE! If your are looking for cargo baskets, get your A$$ to target stores! I've been tight and patient, which is not me.....I got the Coleman Basket for $49.98. YES, that was correct! They had two left and I almost picked them both up to have an extra for someone cheap. If someone is interested and willing to pay the shipping, let me know and I'll look tomorrow for the other if it isn't already taken. Once I get it on and get some pic's taken, I'll try to get them posted for all to see. I've been having a problem posting pic's for some reason? Later all!
  6. Who started the post? Just given' ya crap DJ. I'm still being a tight A$$. It's for the $140 here also, but waiting for it to go lower. That's what us tight A$$ individuals do. If we miss out, oh well! Lookin' nice Greg.
  7. My passenger's side has play also. I'm going to replace the bearing and the rear seal just to be on the safe side. Will also be replacing some bushings also. I'll be attempting this next week. I've used my Chilton manual when I replaced the half shaft and knock sensor. It comes in handy. Good luck SLOVAK69! Let us know how things go. I'm going to do a write up on the bushing replacement step by step and also the bearings and rear seal. I'm bad at getting the write ups done, but I will try.
  8. :furious: Here in the Midwest, all the junk yards have came into the 21st century. They now take the items off the vehicles and charge you for your first born! What in the *ell happen to the old days when you could drive right in and pick away at a vehicle for whatever parts you wanted? Todays society sucks sometimes! I guess I'll be calling the dealership for a a$$ raping! :sniff:
  9. Looks nice Grim! Thanks for the pic!
  10. That's what I've been thinking. I've spent the last two days & nights looking over things and prices on the wheels, tires, BL, labor and time...YIKES! I think the 33" will have to do for now until the money and body trimming factor is null... Thanks guys!
  11. Hey GrimGreg, Have you found any attachments for that Coleman basket yet? Some kind of mounts for hi-lift jacks and tires and things? Just curious. I'm still thinking about getting one, but thinking about mounting things. I haven't found any type of mount kits yet....Keep me posted! Thanks!
  12. Any of you know where I could get some new clips that attach the fender flares to the fenders at? Besides the Nissan dealership! Another question for all you that have upgraded to 35" or larger tires......When trimming the fenders, (for those who have kept their fender flares) did you bend a lip or is there room to bend a lip for the clips? Thanks for the info! I'm thinking about getting 35" tires after the 3" BL goes on. Wanting to keep the flares if possible...
  13. I was thinking about mounting my Hi-Lift jack like yours Pezzy, but here is the thing..........If you want to get into the back cargo area with out opening the whole gate, there is no way the window will flip up. It hits the jack. Sucks A$$! So, I'm going to run to Super Target tonight and buy that Coleman cargo basket like I've been talking about in another forum. It's now on clearance here for $140.00. Can't really get anything like that any cheaper...Oh yeah, that's right, if you are Grimm and live in Ohio, you can get this basket for $99.00 on clearance. :furious:  You SUCK Grimm! Just kidding man! Lucky you! So, now I need to fab some kind of mounting device on this basket for the jack and some lights. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate them! Thanks all!
  14. I'm getting ready to repaint some exterior items. Once I'm done, I'll take some current pic's for you all. What I'm using is "Rust-oleum Hammered" There are many different shades. The ones I've seen are the charcoal, silver/gray, copper/gold, and one other color. I prefer the charcoal look. It's dark and is the closest to the original gray that my Pathy came with. Like I said, I'll try to get some pic's for everyone soon. Good luck on your paint fabs!
  15. I'll try to post some of my pic's of my interior. I've painted the dash, glove box, center console, door handles, locks, side mirrors, door handles, fender flares, rear spoiler, grille, spare tire holder, center caps, etc. the HAMMERED look! I've had many compliments on it. It's the little things like that, that sets your Pathy aside from all the others. Have fun with it! Don't for get the clear coat or it will fade!
  16. Looks like someone had a little too much fun! What in the world is the cable from the winch being hooked up too? I'm jealous and here's one for you!
  17. So any of you go with dual exhaust? I'm looking into headers and wanting to go with dual exhaust. I'm also wondering if I should run the pipes out the side just in front of the rear tires or not. I'm not too sure if doing that will interfear with the rock sliders once I get some? With some of you doing all this work yourself, (which I would love to do also) are you having to bend some of the piping yourself? I'm sure I would have too if converting over to dual exhaust. Have any of you bypassed the cat and ran straight threw to the mufflers? If I do the dual and the all new piping, would I have to have an O2 sensor in both pipes? Thanks for all the help and info everyone!
  18. Derogate, Lookin' Sweet! that is the actual size? How much would something like that cost to fit darn near the whole back window?
  19. :cool2: I like 88's idea w/out the periods. I do like the front windshield sticker and the rear. I would laso like the side stickers that were out and the option of having your member number put on them also. Count me in for a few also!
  20. Yes, the squeaking is the poly bushings. They hold up better and longer, but yes, they do squeak. I've had my CALMINI 3" lift for a few months now and I squirt them with some WD40 once in awhile to help the squeaks. The color of the bushings are a lime green color. The UCA spindle slides through them. Any other questions, let us know!
  21. -bounce- -bounce- LIKE A GLOVE! The front holes are done for the skidplate. Time to move on to the back :sniff: where the hitch bolts are. Thanks you guys for your help!
  22. Thanks Greg! I'm on my way out the door to do some running and then all hell breaks loose!
  23. Champher is threading, or is that like just the beginning ofthe hole is counter- sunk? I find all this very interesting, but no knowledge or education on this. I'm thinking about going back to school for this.... -bounce- Sorry to put you to for all this mumbo jumbo!
  24. Thanks everyone! Precise1, Where I'm drilling is where the front of the factory skid plate is bolted, just under the radiator. The middle one is drilled out and the left and right bolts are busted, so I will be drilling those out. I've never threaded a hole before. Is it time consumming? I'm threading these by hand, or should I put the bit in a drill and go slow? I also need to do all this to the bolts that busted when I was taking my hitch off the rear to repaint. The hitch is crap, since the previous owner welded the tongue in and everything is rusted to be hell. Wanting to get a fabbed rockkrawler bumper with hitch built in. Thanks for all your help!
