  1. Bungie cord a gas can on the tire carrier? So, how many are you going to wrap around the can to keep it secure while off roading? You need some kind of base for it to sit on to help secure it. If you are going to fabsomething up, make it well worth the effort and saftey to all around.
  2. BINGO! Thanks JJ. I'm always on one or two of them, but never even thought about it. Why I feel Sheepish!
  3. -bounce- -bounce- I think it is time for me to go back to school :type: for welding and metal fabricating. I'm getting excited from all this fabrication talk. On the other note, the PreRunner's skid plates wouldn't work on a Pathy? I like the look of those. Plane Jane, but wouldn't want all the holes fabbed in it. More room for the ol' mud and dirt to pack in around your steering components. Keep up the great work guys!
  4. LMAO!!!!!! Love the comment Crazy! I thought that was the hottest fragerance out now! Thanks for all the ideas everyone! I really want a couple of the cans on the tires carrier, but the price of the mounts/can holders and able to lock them down. I guess, if I want them bad enough, I'll have to pay the price. Thanks All!
  5. Ebay, what's Ebay? :furious: SMART @SS! Thanks 88! :cool2: I plan on looking around first, but thought someone might have made a similar purchase lately!
  6. Gotta ? for some of you "Junk yard Junkies". What kind of price range would I be looking at for a HB gear shifter? I'm thinking about ordering my body-lift and componants. I've been reading a lot of forums about switching over to a HB gear shifter due to the length. Just curious! Thanks for your info!
  7. Just a thought! I'm not the sharpest tool in the shead when it comes to mods, but wouldn't you want more of a smoother slant on the plate from the front to the rear instead of that sharp drop? Just an observation if you see what I mean. Not meaning to bust anyones bubble cause it does look sweet.
  8. Hello all! Has anyone ever used or mounted a Jerry can(5gal gas can) mount on or inside of your Pathy? I was thinking about mounting two cans on the tire rack and the tire up on top. With the wonderful gas prices, I'm afraid some @sshole will come along and steal the cans :furious: , so I'm thinking about mounting one inside the cargo area. Any ideas or thoughts?
  9. Hey wheelman, that does look bitchin'! I've seen them on the back of Wranglers, so with the back paneling for the cargo area, it should be possible for SUV's. The only thing about it, lot of weight and over hang off the back of the Pathy!
  10. Yes, they should be behind the lower paneling in the cargo area. Mine in my '94 was on the passenger's side. Good luck!
  11. Hey Elect. Hope things go well for ya. I've purchased the Pace Setter Headers also. The cheapest I've found someone to put them on is $350. That's just taking the manifolds off and placement of the headers. The exhaust will put me around $700-$800. That's also for going dual exhaust. I'm going to wait until Spring now and do the header work myself and then have someone do the exhaust for me. I've already purchased the mufflers also. Just need the piping, hangers, and the welding done. Let us know how things went and the price range. Thanks!
  12. Look around! Look around! Get -bounce- -bounce- get down! Sorry, just listening to some old cd's! I got mine for $58.00, yes $58.00 at Target on clearance. It's a Coleman. I just got done mounting my hi-lift jack up there and now getting the nut's for the bolt's to mount the tire up in the basket. I'm going to use the mount that is bolted to the rear tire sway bar. Replacing the rear tire mount with gas can mounts. Will take pic's once done. Speaking of gas can mounts, does anyone know if the mounts that with the straps mount okay to the rear swing bars? No, it's not the $60 some dollar gas mount on AC's site. It looks like a lipped pan that mounts and a nylon strap that will tighen down over the can to keep it in place. Just curious before I order it and it won't work! Thanks for your help!
  13. -thnkboutit- What a DUMB A$$! I hope he knocked some sense into himself by that graceful fall he had smacking his a$$, I'm sorry, his head on the concrete! Too bad he didn't get ran over by the truck! Darwin it is!
  14. 88 is correct on the knock sensor position. I replaced mine a year ago and it's running alot better. You'll be looking at an afternoon to do all the work if you are mechanically enclined and have a manual to help. Good luck!
  15. Skrill & Knox have the correct answers. My '94 has all the buttons. Yes, they are for the factory fogs, rear window release, shock adjustment, and the 4th is for security.....If you don't have factory fogs, then you'll have an extra toggle switch for your personal use. Good luck!
  16. That's strange, cause I put one in my 94 and it sounds just fine.
  17. YEah, I just got putting some on also, along with the steering stabilizer bushings also.....PITA!!
  18. Great work Precise1!!!! What's the price on that? If not too bad, I would love to have one and if you could check out the shipping cost for me....Des Moines, Iowa 50322. Thanks for your hard work and effort for everyone!
  19. Well, it depends on how much money you want to spend. Myself, like a few others here lately, purchased a Coleman Safari Cargo Basket from Target. I got mine on clearance finally for $49.98. I decided to go back and get the rest of them so if someone wanted one for cheap, but they were gone. Glad I grab mine while I did. I had it one the same night and last night I just got done mounting the Hi-lift jack mounts and mounted my jack. I'll get some pic's taken of it and get some posted. I'm also  thinking about taking the wheel mount off the back of the swingbar and mounting it up in the basket for the spare. Then the dual gas tank mounts will be mounted on the back ofthe Pathy. After I get the headers and dual exhaust put on, the custom bumpers and rock sliders are coming. Once things are done, pic's will be posted. Good luck on the basket!
  20. Sorry to ask this question, but can 33x12.5x15 fit on the original lego wheels? I'm thinking about ordering some for this Winter or next Spring. Thanks everyone!
  21. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- ALRIGHT EVERYONE! If your are looking for cargo baskets, get your A$$ to target stores! I've been tight and patient, which is not me.....I got the Coleman Basket for $49.98. YES, that was correct! They had two left and I almost picked them both up to have an extra for someone cheap. If someone is interested and willing to pay the shipping, let me know and I'll look tomorrow for the other if it isn't already taken. Once I get it on and get some pic's taken, I'll try to get them posted for all to see. I've been having a problem posting pic's for some reason? Later all!
  22. Who started the post? Just given' ya crap DJ. I'm still being a tight A$$. It's for the $140 here also, but waiting for it to go lower. That's what us tight A$$ individuals do. If we miss out, oh well! Lookin' nice Greg.
  23. My passenger's side has play also. I'm going to replace the bearing and the rear seal just to be on the safe side. Will also be replacing some bushings also. I'll be attempting this next week. I've used my Chilton manual when I replaced the half shaft and knock sensor. It comes in handy. Good luck SLOVAK69! Let us know how things go. I'm going to do a write up on the bushing replacement step by step and also the bearings and rear seal. I'm bad at getting the write ups done, but I will try.
  24. :furious: Here in the Midwest, all the junk yards have came into the 21st century. They now take the items off the vehicles and charge you for your first born! What in the *ell happen to the old days when you could drive right in and pick away at a vehicle for whatever parts you wanted? Todays society sucks sometimes! I guess I'll be calling the dealership for a a$$ raping! :sniff:
