  1. thats just a temp fix though... find a good ground once you get some wire and some good connectors. The better the ground.. the brighter the lights.... any autoparts store sells a good mixed set of elec connectors for $15 bucks and they are good to keep in the back... with some spare wire.
  2. for a temp fix.. once you have them mounted.. you can just search around with the power on until they light up.. then screw the ground to that.
  3. Yes... bad Idea.... I go ballistic when people touch my cars......... I do have to add though.. while I think its a great idea to have cards... we cant even seem to get stickers right.....
  4. give an update tomm. I am curious ......

  6. you say you have good spark.. but just from reading it looks like you chcked to make sure you had voltage there and then stopped. Did you look at the cap and rotor? sorry if you did.... hard to know from reading.
  7. just plain old ran into it on the web... and it just kinda stayed up on my screen.....
  8. LOL. looks like you had enough compression to get going faster than the other guy...... but sorry to hear about your truck man.
  9. I think with your tapping noise, that you have more wrong than just a head gasket... sorry man.
  10. I am fully loaded all the time. can't be too prepared....
  11. I have one of these in my truck too. a woobie http://www.kifaru.net/woobie.html
  12. yes, I vote for them replacing the entire motor. put up a fight.. you have nothing to lose. Tell them you are going to post it all over the internet that their product is defective.
  13. shoot, if you have a warrenty I would take it back. Tell them you want the whole thing replaced and hold your position. See what they are willing to do. if you do it yourself, you may very well void your warrenty.
  14. I have that too... but it dsn't even have any bacon in it... sigh... I still add it though..
  15. I like those too. But I alwayse worried that a branch or something would rip it off. I think it would look good though. I vote Yes w lights.
  16. I am sure you already know this... but I thought I'd throw it out... :coffee!: are you sure the ride wouldn't have evened out after driving it a little? It sits higher when first installed then settles out.
  17. how far away from Scottsdale is it?
  18. Nice! I was just down in Scottsdale yest. Is that anywhere's near that? Looks like fun and great scenery! oh... and it was rain'in like a SOB last night.... any worry about flash flood on that trail?
  19. Hmmm..... I have learned... you get what u pay for. Those lights, blow out, leak, rust and cause various probs... but thats just my opinion. If you don't live in a moist area.... maybe they would last.
  20. also, if you go to a 16 in wheel, you will need new tires, as your current ones wont fit. but maybe you already knew that.
  21. Keep us posted. I would ike to know what happend.
  22. You aren't considering KC's? I have a set and love them! I have a set of hella's and KC's.... they are both good lights. :-)
  23. if it does not go away ( the tapping) , I would say you have a real problem. Its under warrenty right? I would take it in. Good chance your problems are related.
  24. U sure this has nothing to do with your tapping noise?? has that gotten worse? any new noises or rythems lately?
