Did you change the entire exhaust out, or just cat and headers?

The arrows are pretty much right on, the #3 is just below the door pillar, should be fairly obvious...should be... As for #5, look for the 4"-5" steel circle with a bolt in the middle. (No pic of that one) Both of these are bolt only, they go into a captive nut welded into the body.

If you think you can handle it I'll let you borrow my welder if you want. I would offer to do it for you, but I haven't even found the time to get to doing what needs done on mine. When I did mine before I just grabbed sheet steel from Fortin Steel on 5th Ave. (much cheaper than Lowe's).

I only ever saw one replacement, non-OEM style grill on the market for our trucks, and that hasn't been made since they made our trucks new. There were 2 people on AC's site that had them on their trucks, flip through the photo gallery I think at least one of them posted a pic.

At highway speeds the airflow generated by moving is greater than either fan type can produce so that argument is null.

If it is the hard line then you can splice it, but if it is bad back there it is probably bad the whole length of the line. To splice it you just need a tubing cutter, a section of new line, a coupling and a flare tool.

I welded mine back up once, I have a few more spots that appeared since that I'm getting ready to weld up also.

Yep, and you'll probably drop every single one trying to remove them, they are a PITA. Getting them back on is just as fun too .

87-93 mechanical speedo(square dash), 94&95 have electronic(round dash) That would be the biggest issue on the tranny, all other stuff minor.

I used tube silicone and worked itinbetween all the wires to make them basically a solid bundle. Then once I fed them through a hole in the side of the box I sealed around the outside and inside of box between the wires and the edge of the hole. I cut the "feet" off the ECU, and mounted the box using 2 of the factory mount points by drilling the box and sealing each screw, and the ECU just "floats" inside the box. I even ran a bead of silicone around the lid seal before I closed it up. I never did take a finished pic (did the work 2 years ago), I'll try and remember to get one.

My 88's sits in a sealed box (tupperware style) under the seat in it's original location. Never had an issue of too much heat leaving it sealed up all the time.

If you are using a quality wire there should be no issues, ever crawl under your truck and see how many wires (little ones even) that are "exposed". Not like the floor board on the inside of the body isn't made of a big grounded piece of steel either right? I ran a power wire that way, not for an amp, but for some accesories. I used a piece of 0 wire to go from the battery back along the frame, no troubles. I do agree though, a sub and amp is a stupid waste of space.

You can order the right bolt size through McMasterCarr IIRC.

Well, it would be another long run; but you could run it along the frame and come through the rubber grommit in the body by the tail light (on the inside of the fender behind the gas filler), or one of the ones under the rear seats (pull the padding up under the seat and you'll see them), they are solid, but you can cut a hole in them to feed the wire through. I'm sure there would be a couple under the front seats also, but I can't remember.

Did they change their prices (haven't looked since last year), used to be about $30 more for the 3".

Don't go 3" on the SL...besides, it will be hard to get the full 3" in the front, and will cause extra wear on parts to have it cranked that much.

I want a PTO blender mount! Seriously though, maybe a little more wrap around protection than an ARB offers.

Wrong part on your diagram there. Looks like part of the system (the AIV solenoid), but not the right part. This is (as you can see in the pic) sitting next to the charcoal canister on the driver's side wheel hump, it is the first thing that the tube from the Cat goes into.

Tree huggers should be strung up by their necks in the damn trees. Many plants and animals have lived and become extinct, what is unnatural is our attemt to keep that process from continuing. The earth can handle its self it doesn't need any interfearance...just look at Katrina, the California fires, Iowa floods..... hell tomorrow an asteroid could hit the earth and destroy all life think how worthless you'd feel then.
