A couple of Pathy owners on NOAS have made their own drop brackets for the cables.

Without a BL you can only really use a 31", maybe a 32". Lifts don't really give you any tire clearance, because no matter the lift you will need to cut some fender to give anything over a 31" clearance when turning. The Crapmini stuff replaces the stock idler arm, so the AC brace won't work with it.

Better word of advice; Ef Quebec, if you live there you deserve the crap you gotta deal with!

04 and older

Basically you would need to find a higher place on the frame to additionally mount it. Make mounts that go from that point and attach to the brushguard, then make a mount tray on the brushguard for the winch. Some winches come with a mount plate that you could have welded onto the brushguard, or brackets welded to the brushguard that the mout tray could bolt to.

Or pinch the tube against the bead and blow it.

US models, 94+ have the electronic speedo.

The Maniks are guards only, and can not support a winch. You could probably rework it if you have some fab skills, so that it could mount one. As they come though, they only mount to the factory tow hook mounts, so it would just bend forward if you tried to bolt a winch on and pull something.

I had that type of grill guard for about 3 years on my 93, it is a Manik, or Waag brand (they look exactly the same).

I know some R-50s were stock with those, can your drivetrain handle them? Or were the ones that those were stock on different?

I wouldn't bother with my insurance on modifications. Maybe if I I SASed I would, since it is a major modification, but for parts that can bolt on and off, nah.

From here in Columbus, OH to Ft. Meyers Beach, FL, via Harlan County, KY then back a week later. Direct route (that I drove back) is 18hrs drive time, with stops for food and gas it took 22hrs. coming back. Took me 6hr to get to Harlan on the way down, and 18hr to get to FL from there.

That would be a rare HB, a V-6 with manual hubs. (FYI to those looking, all 4cyl HBs have the 27 spline hubs through 97.)

If you plan to wheel it, I would say don't bother because it will catch every low branch.
