Yeah, get it out ASAP, GL-5 will eat the thin brass components in your tranny.

Did you swap out the ECU sending unit, or the guage sending unit? We have 2 different ones on our trucks.

I forget what grease I even use for bearings (had a few ), but it is just Valveline bearing grease in a blue can. I always repack any bearing that comes loose, no matter how recent the last packing was.

Yeah, the electric clusters in the 94&95 are notorious for "issues".

Then your temp sensor for your guage might be bad....

Yeah, you can just pull the shaft right out of the rear of the T-case, but it will "bleed". FYI there are slip yoke eliminators available for our T-cases, but you need to buy/have made a slip-joint drive shaft if you install one.

The bleeder is pretty easy to see on an 86.5-89, it is on the upper hose right above the power steering pump, little thumb screw. Sounds like your fan clutch might have gone bad in the "free spin" range so it isn't spinning when your engine gets hot, where as most will lock up and sound like a frieght train because they are locked in and constantly spinning.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Go through and check everything as you disassemble it for the CVs, and if the part is worn, replace it, if not, clean it up and reuse it.

Nope, no lights will come on until you get the tranny hot enough to toast it completely, then the trans temp light will come on. By then, your tranny is a door stop.

Never use that for any kind of speaker enclosure/mount. That is unless you LIKE the sound of the plys vibrating apart.... MDF is the best material. I would just make a piece that replaces the plastic cover on the hatch. FYI, if you have a wiper, you won't have room to fit the magnet in the door on the passenger side, and if you have power glass and door latches you won't fit one on the driver's side. I measured mine out once and since I have manual latches I have a void on the driver's side perfect for an 8".

Nope it is clipped in behind the trim abobe the doors and under the dome light. I think they put it there to hide the clips for the frant and rear headliner pieces. I need to reglue the ones in my 93, they fell down while it was sitting this summer.

Some loc tite ought to work just fine.

Does it just rev out in second? You might have got the tranny hot and sent it into "safe mode".

I was just pointing out a safer mounting method using your hitch, and pointing to a mass market product readilly available. As it looks like you are going to make your own homemade now, that is probably the direction I would go myself.

I wouldn't put more than 2 bikes on the stock, but it should handle those fine. You can get Yakima or Thule towers that fit the stock side rails.

FYI, you "should" replace the nut on the bushing end when you reassemble things, it's a "nyloc" style with the built in nylon thread lock in it.

They make a mount that will slide right into a 2" class III receiver hitch. There is a chance of the winch popping off the hitch ball at an extreme angle with your setup. Here is the WARN one:

They are about an inch wider, but you should be able to stuff it in there. As for the seats, the R50 ones won't fit without a lot of rework.
