Get a whole house water filtration system. If you can do simple plumbing it will cost you less than $100 and filter all the water comming into your house (ie even the sprinklers).

Those are the Pace Setters. I have them on my 93, I'll buy them for my 88 eventually.

It could have been the heat stress from the welds that cracked the frame also... Besides, Ford, they break if you look at em funny.

If they cracked, then they weren't engineered or built correctly for the vehicle.

Actually they do, they get rust problems just behind the front spring mount for the rear.

If you are chopping it up, you can fit whatever the hell you want in it.

Besides a motor you need a real rear recovery point. Did you get the motor into the thick mud? Things that spin well in open air tend to get angry trying to spin in mud.

Keeps mine covered in grime. Both of my trucks have the deflector (now) and my 93 has the rear wiper so I can see out of it, but the 88 doesn't have a wiper, so I have to manually squeege off the rear if I want to see.

I think I have my stock wingless hinges in a box in my shed, I'll see if I can't find them and let you know if you really want to lose the wing.

A friend of mine used to have a sticker that read, "I don't carry passengers, all they do is scream." I don't have rear seats in my 88, and rarely have an occation to carry anyone in the rear of my 93.

Didn't they have an LCD cover on one of the cars in that Spike TV wannabe Cannonball Run show? They flipped a switch, it turned white instantly, flip it off back to clear. Any device used to attempt to circumvent the camera or radar is illegal, or will be made illegal once realized by the "Authorities".

Actually Optima aren't as good as they used to be. Try an Orbital brand instead.

Only time I got completely off the ground was over a set of RR tracks. It was interesting having all my tools in the back getting hang time....loud as hell whne they all settled back down.

Yeah, I would have pulled a vacuum on the system and dripped thin "super" glue into the crack as long as there wasn't any material missing.
