  1. I would buy that and have an old school pinstriper paint "The Shaggin Wagon" on it.
  2. I'll never understand why you try to drive a 4x4 SUV like a sports car.

    MT rebuild?

Beergarage.com has a write up on rebuilding one, its a 2WD but same concept, just separate it from the transfer case. He didn't really have any special tools either. He's a big DIY guy.
  4. If its still broke in a month I'll come help ya. My parents live in Creede.
  5. If it rains I think I need to replace them. Then I turn them on, and presto, still like new.
  6. I have these unusual looking Good Years from Costco. Holy crap, best wiper ever.
  7. The above is always the first thing I think of when hearing a story like that.
  8. I would not buy alternators and starters from Rock auto. The small chance you get a DOA unit, you get to send it back, more waiting. I've seen DOA units from local parts, dealers, sometimes it just happens. I put in a O'Reillys of some sort, been great for about a year now.
  9. Its held up pretty well on my front bumper, even after washing it at the quickie car wash with the pressure wand. And honestly, I didnt do that great of a job of spraying it.
  10. Plastidip is awesome, I've done my front bumper, rear window hinges, the Nissan grille emblem. I've considered doing my entire truck, I've seen a few cars around that have it done. Some look good, some are kinda bleh. Good prep work goes a long way if you are gonna do the entire thing. FYI, you can't get it by the gallon in California anymore, thanks to some law.
  11. Jamesrich has a TAG. I'd direct questions to him.
  12. Pics of Nissan winch guard and Nissan winch? Cant say I've ever seen them on a big bumper 93+.
  13. As much as I like my WD21, doing a motor swap to occasionally pull a tent trailer sounds ludicrous. My ex had a 97 Pathfinder, towed a small tent trailer out to our local lake once, just a few small hills. I couldnt imagine going up and down the stuff in your neck of the woods. I vote buy used/new/different tow vehicle. If you stick with Nissan, I'd aim for something with a VQ35.
  14. God I hate Nickleback. Good video other than that!
  15. The ones I was reading about were 40 or 41MM. CRF 250 and 450's, but obviously double check.
  16. From what I was reading, they actually went through their system and found bikes that should of been red sticker only that had been plated, and sent out notices saying you had to surrender your plates. I know some of it has to do with the 8th digit of the VIN. If its a C or 3 it is a non plate able bike. On topic, I see a bunch of people swapping in a carb from the CRF bikes, seems to be a pretty common upgrade.
  17. In the Energy Suspension catalog, there is a listing for the part number for the kit.
  18. When you get in the passenger side because you have crappy plastic handles. I can change a door handle is about 5 minutes nowadays.
  19. Depends on your size. If I was a little fella is get a 250-450. My bike of choice right now would be a XR650L. Precise, be careful about plated dirt bikes. I've read that DMV handed out plates like candy at one point, but they are starting to figure it out and revoke them.
  20. If you order the Moog with the correct number, yea you'll be fine. You have to pay attention to the part number, and a lot of times their warehouse closeouts aren't worth dealing with.
  21. I bought a "kit" from Summit. It had the sway bar bushings and end links all in one box. This was energy suspension.
  22. Just do not buy the Harbor Frieght ones. That is all.
