BowTied
My first car, highschool, 1971 Chevelle Malibu. 350/350 a LOT of miles just cruzin' to nowhere. Found just about every crook to help get it fixed up, spent too much money and in the end it deteroriated. (Scaned photo from 1990 or 91) Since then, 69 Chevelle SS396 4spd 85 Pontiac Parisienne Safari Wagon (yes, with genuine immitation woodgrain) 83 Chev Cavalier 5spd 83 Pontiac Parisienne 4 door 91 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4x4 99 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4x4 02 Pathfinder LE 05 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4x4 ZR2 off-road MY gf/now wife had when I met her a 90 Ford Probe. Hated working on it but it was fun with 3.0/5spd. Also a 95 Sentra. Edited March 3, 2012 by BowTied
1994SEV6
after alot of work: Wow. that thing is amazingly beautiful. My uncle has a 1979 280zx. I need to snag that from him one of these days. Needs a bit of work though. It's a nice baby blue. If it's an autotragic, I might just let him keep it under the tarp in his driveway for a while longer though. Nice tag. As long as their 15 years old you can bring them in to Canada. Back when I imported those Skylines they were expensive since they just became legal to import. I paid about $12,000 all said and done for that GTR. Now you can get a decent GTR in Japan for about $2000 + shipping and everything else. And shipping rates have gone SKY HIGH in the last 6 years. Its damn expensive to get a Bluebird (Datsun 510) let alone a Skyline. I know there was a giant scandal when Motorex was importing them into the states. 12k for a GTR is ok in my book! I'd just like to say I owned one and take it into my local Nissan dealer for a oil change.
RF600
First car was a Ford Granada. It was free. Traded it in and got screwed. Young and dumb 88 Sentra. Put over 100k on it. Sold it. 72 K5 Blazer I got from my dad. Sold it. 68 Camaro. Big block, TH400. Miss that car. sold it 87 4x2 Chevy pickup. Lowered it. Sold it to a friend. 87 Chrysler Conquest. Picked it up with a blown motor. Runs like a top now. A lot of time and effort and i'm not done yet. Currently gathering parts for a 240sx front suspension swap. 95 Pathfinder. Picked it up for $1300 Almost forgot. Pick it up about 5 years ago. This is for the nicer days. 98 TL1000R. It didn't look like this when I got it. Super dangerous. US is like nuh-uh. Check this out. Not even something you want to be involved in. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/the-facts-about-nissan-skyline-importation-into-the-united-states-4.html

Eventually it caught up to them.

NextToAlaska
That was my first vehicle. 88 GMC jimmy (Also known as tank) it leaked oil in about a billion different places, but it always ran for me, Would take it everywhere and anywhere drove it for 3 and a half years until I got my pathy, I just recently bought it back from my friend, and cut the roof off it. (turning it into a lil buggy)

DavefromOZ
Started with a 500 dollar Mazda 1300 2 door sedan, which I drove until the body had rotted away to the point it wasn't safe anymore Bought a 350 dollar Mazda 1300 4 door, pulled the heart out of the 2 door and transplanted it and it ran for another 2 years while the 4 door fell apart Next was a 83 Subaru 4x4 wagon Then went to my 93 5L Ford Fairmont Then a 92 Nissan Pintara Wagon Then my scuby, damn that thing was obnoxious, used to set off car alarms when I fired it up After that I bought my hippo, I miss the old girl, but she went to a good home, this was the last time she was driven in anger by me Now I have my 06 XR6 Falcon, love this car, very easy to drive and after the Terry, it goes like a rocket when needed, I no longer have to plan when I am going to overtake, I just plant the foot and point it where I need to be I wish I could have kept the Terry, I have promised the kids we will have another 4wd, but am thinking maybe a Y61 patrol instead, when the time comes. Tjmarchand
I started with my grandfather's 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX (v6) died in an accident when I was in high school. Then no car for a while, had a 2000 Ford Taurus wagon. Could fit a 55' flatscreen in the back with the seats down! Then got an 85 Monte Carlo from a junkyard. Still have it, need to fix it. Sanded the roof down to bare metal and the tarp over it blew off so it's getting rusty. Then a 99 Dodge Intrepid, which a woman totaled after flooring it through a rotary because she didn't want to yield Now the pathfinder!
